wow, ubisoft, you've outdone yourselves. D:

Now i want Far Cry too. >_<

i need money. >_>

UbiSoft sure is busy... I thought Red Steel alone would keep them occupied. *Drools at Red Steel trailer* Anyway, the first and third are the only ones I'm interested in.

The only one I want is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. TP should of been only a GCN game, so that's the version I'm going to get. It's compatable, so why not?

The Wii version of Twilight Princess will have enhanced graphics, some sort of WiiConnect24 features, and of course Wii controls. Going for the GCN game is okay, but I sure wouldn't.

As for which games out of those I am getting, it's probably going to be these...

TP
MP3
Trauma Center
Red Steel
Dragon Quest

And I might rent Far Cry.

I'm not saying Mertoid Prime was the worst game ever.......I'm saying it was the second worst game ever, next to Metroid Prime 2. I'm not expecting much from #3 either. I'm not even gonna bother renting it.

Yeah, prime has sort of stabbed the series in the chest... its too repetative.

:(

but i've heard good things about 3, i'd give it a try atleast... its supposed to be way more fun with the wiimote.

I'm definately getting that.

MP2 and MP were awsome! The original Metroid sucked though.

TP has WiiConnect24? I thought SSBB would be one of the few to make use of the WFC. Besides, what kind of multiplayer would it be? Theres no multiplayer in any other 3-D Zelda games (Sparing Tingle Boming), so why add multiplayer to the 3-D games now?

Wii controlls? That's sure to suck.

Yeah, I mean, who isn't?

:p I really need to get set-up with a 360 and Gears of War when it comes out, though. ;_;

Man, am I gonna be blowin' a lot on videogames these upcoming years... I should save up for a car n'stuff. >_>;;;;

I love all the Metroid games, to be honest with you actually. The Metroid Prime games added more depth to the Metroid universe, while the 2D games were the basis and core of the series... Kinda like with 2D and 3D Mario.</big>

You're confusing things... WiiConnect24 is the thing that sends updates even if your system is turned off. So we might see an additional dungeon...

Yeah, as if you've ever played the Wii. Granted, I haven't either, but from the praise the controls are getting... So many people can't be wrong.

That's just nostalgia talking. I love 2-D Metroid games (Zero Mission for example), but the NES game is... Well, NES quality. Not to meantion its many gaping flaws, like starting you off with 30 health no matter how many energy tanks you've gotten, requiring 5 missles to open red doors, and the simple inablility to aim diagonaly. Some of these might have been hardware limitations, it doesn't increase its quality. Take DK. The original DK. Only had three levels. And yet when it was releleased on the GBA a while ago, GS gave it a 6.2, 1.7 points below the port of the DKC, which got a 7.9. A 3 level port gets only 1.7 points less praise than the game that had innovative gameplay, innovative graphics, and amazing music? The oldest games are outdated. Anyone who grew up in the SNES era and on can see that the NES is overrated.

Ummm...what about Wii Sports?

@XGT, wow, I've been saying that for a long time. The Primes do suck, they are nothing like the good metroid games except the aliens and stuff. It's just a shooter with aliens, pretty much.

However, the rest, the classics and the game boy ones were great. Metroid feeling, 2-D sidescroller. The Primes probably would've been better if they were 2-D sidescrollers.

@Bul, the 3-D mario games kinda sucked too...the 2-D were way better...Sunshine was pretty cool though.

I'm not.

@PKMNMater Sunshine was good and I think Galaxy will be good, too. 2d games were good but I liked 3d too.

aiming diagonally is called 'L' 'R', they're these nifty buttons on the sholders of the controller.

:p

But yeah, Metroid 1 didn't have Diagonal aiming... thats part because it couldn't... part because it needed to have strait only... for certain parts of the game you needed to work your way to a part, rather than just shooting diagonally... it made it more challanging.

As for DonkeyKong... those guys dont really even care when they rate ports... thats why they both got such low scores... anything below 8 is really considered a not-so-great game... so ports never really make the cut, with a few acceptions.

5 missles to open a red door... hows that bad... it helps keep your missle level down so you're not overpowered, unless you hate challanges that was a good thing... and there were more than enough recharge batteries throughout the game.

30 health is so that you learn not to get hit, whats the point of having a game where you're overpowered and basically walk through it?</big>
