Andrea here, hello! I haven't written a blog entry in a while. Did you know that today, Animal Crossing New Leaf was released in Europe 5 years ago? Also on this very day five years ago, I rushed home from school to find the game packaged on my bed, ready to be opened and played.
It feels strange that it was five years ago and how I wish I could go back and re-visit that time period, when I first started playing the game and how intrigued I was over it.
I decided to boot up my town today called Petunia, which I created on 14th June 2013, when I first got the game. I really wish that I had stopped creating and destroying PWPs (due to my indecisiveness and that I didn't plan properly, where I wanted them to go.) Even to this day, I am not very happy with the way the town looks. Hopefully, I can work on Petunia (or continue abandoning it, like I've been doing this whole year) during the summer break.
When I booted up Petunia, Isabelle was there to greet me and carried out the inauguration ceremony, to celebrate the 5 years I have been mayor of Petunia and for my work of its development. Cheers to that milestone!

Speaking of which, for the one year challenge I created a town called Cosmos on January 1st 2018 (which I also have abandoned recently) and I made another town (called Elixir) on my other cartridge in April this year (but it is set in 2016.).Hopefully I can find time (and motivation!) to commit to taking care of these towns, during the summer break.
