NEW Nintendo DS model coming out.

And I JUST bought a Lite two weeks ago. First Apple does this to me twice, and now Nintendo?

Hello everyone,

I have breaking news to report about a new Nintendo DS model coming out. I got this news from Gamespot and you can read the full article by going to this URL..

Quote from article with a description about it:

"It is thinner (it has no GBA port), has on-board storage, and larger screens."

COMPUTERS, is that you from Nsider?:O:O My fav Sage <3

Anyways, on topic, The no gameboy advance slot kind of disappoints me, but I like the idea of onboard storage and thinner design, sounds pretty cool, especially since my Lite is getting pretty used after a good year and a half now. And this all only applies if all of this is true

;)

Yeah, same here, my ds lites L button and B buttons sometimes give out nowadays, and a sleeker DS would be great. But my main question would be when are the lites gonna stop selling so well so they could get this one on the market? And if the screens are slightly bigger, when you play, will it stretch DS games screens to fit the now larger ones making the quality worse? I don't know if that would be a turn for the better or not...

What I do know is Nintendo was making a DS for the non-gamer, so this may be it.

Yep, my DS lite's taken a bit of damage as well...

I'll probably end up getting this new DS when it comes out...I mean...I really don't play any GBA games anymore anyway...

Same here Gengar, I rarely play GBA games compared to my DS collection anymore, so something that focuses more on my DS collection's a bonus

:D

That's a good idea. Most people buying it now for the first time never had GBA games anyway. I wonder would it'll be called though...

No picture? It depends on how it looks and performs and everything. Bigger screens will probably just make everything look bad quality or something, for some/most games.

That is great news! Bigger screens will be awesome. I may get it when it comes out. I am fine that there's no GBA slot because I don't play any of the games.

Here's to hoping it won't be incredibly painful to play (see MP:H) for long periods of time. I'd say even though the DS Lite is significantly lighter than th original, its design is not conducive to comfortable playing of certain games (see MP:H, again).

Me too... I hope they don't give it a stupid name...

I'll pass with no GBA slot. I need that puppy to play FE and Harvest Moon XD

I feel like such a nerd for owning a DS Fat now.

Same.

I somewhat expected this.

Original GBA --> GBA SP --> GBA Micro

I still like my bulky Red DS. Its a special color which is O.K. with me. Unless they have a variety of colors, I might make the switch.

EDIT: And more DS games that are worth it to keep me occupied with it so I can get its full use out of it.

|sf>I'll probably pass as well. I use my rumble pack at every possible opportunity (especially when it comes to Picross DS and Clubhouse Games) with my original DS machines.

Well maybe it'll have built in rumble.

;) That would be... awesome.
