here we go! this one was taken at night and the resolution is worse so it's not as clear as the one with stairs, but we can see more of that new red NPC if you look close enough.

Well, there seems to be no stopping new findings of this game. Clearly showing that we're nearing the release date.

Ooo I wonder when one will pop up in the UK!!! It's so exciting!!!
Thankies for sharing! (○︎-艸・)*:゚・☆︎

OMG THEY BROUGHT AEROBICS BACK!!! LOOK AT O'HARE AND BUD IN THE BACKGROUND!!! Sorry for shouting (◜︎౪◝︎ )

A) I love the red, dragon-looking thing. B) I wonder what the thing jumping out of the water could be.

We already saw the red lizard, seems like he's taking over from Nat. We just haven't seen a clear render of him yet!

The thing in the background looks like the sea plane to me... (•́ ॣ?̫ ॣ•̀,)՞

What pink beverage is Jay sipping on there? (๑•̀ㅁ•́๑)✧︎

I can't help but think that they are teasing NPC housing. The two houses shown in the japan billboard and this one look to be NPC/villager houses but there's clearly an NPC standing next to it. I always wanted to see where/how NPCs lived and would definitely welcome their house in my town! If it's like HHD and we can help design them, even better. I'm so happy about the confirmation of villager accessories!! I think the last time we saw this was Kiki with glasses? Unless I'm missing another. Also aerobics! I also notice the typical cobble stone ground we see in plazas, but there's no buildings nearby? Also is that a palm tree on land and not on the beach?! These could just be used for the sake of promo pics and not actual features... but I hope this means we can also customise some sort of cobble stone flooring that's not limited to square path patterns but odd sizes and shapes as well as plant trees freely! And Pwps on *top* of paths please!! ;_; My hope for this is slipping away with what we saw of no paths connecting to bridges and stairs though.

heres my semi theory. the baby versions of past NPCs are here as a station to guide us thru bug catching, fish catching, and (potential new activity) bird watching! heres why:

we see this lizard in front of a house. if you look closely, you will see what KIND OF LOOKS LIKE (might be wront here) a flower with a bug on it hanging on the door. previously, we have seen harveys home in a render across the water. on his door was a similarly themed decor, but of a camera with a bird on it while harvey himself was feeding birds (potentially implying the new feature of bird watching/cataloguing as a new activity) and we know there is a new fish catching NPC as well from previous renders. that might be the purpose of these new child npcs, and individual hubs for each activity--with stores and tips etc. related to each activity--could be useful! just an off the wall theory tho

I'd like more gameplay pics.

That's a nice theory! It makes sense since things like fishing can now use bait. Maybe we could buy different containers/tanks for fish and bugs in these little stores as well.

NPC housing would be great indeed. I also wondered where Isabelle, Kicks and Leif lived.

Hold up, is that O'hare and Bud doing aerobics in the background? If this is the case, I'm gonna scream out of happiness, as I wanted this feature to make an comeback for so long now. Besides, at first I thought Jay is holding a message in a bottle, but after zooming in, it looks more like a drink? Anyway, everything in this picture is amazing and getting me even more hyped for the game.

Also, kinda interesting how the first promo that popped up looked spring themed, this one here looks more summer themed. So perhaps there is a fall and winter themed promo out there?

Based on the picture shown, i think Aerobics will return in New Horizons which is really nice. I wonder what kind of other returning features we'll get

I do not think that NPC housing will be a thing. There is not enough space for all the NPCs, eight possible players, all of the furniture items that can now be placed outside, plus the expected larger public works projects, plus the 10 or more villagers that will be placed outside -- all with room to spare for enough grass and landscape to not make it feel ultra crowded and stressful and non-AC like. And honestly I would not want to sacrifice the possibility of more animals living on my island for a few NPC houses.

I mean I'd love to see where they live and the inside of their homes. I just think that space will not be something taken for granted on the island. We can already kind of predict how large the map will "feel" based on seeing how long it takes them to cross past that Nook hut and then seeing how much space it takes up on the map. It won't feel very large -- I doubt it will feel as large as the Gamecube's (which I would absolutely love! But I don't think it looks like it will). If there are NPC homes, I am sure that it will be on a separate island. We can already see that there might be islands nearby, like Harvey's that is seen in the cover art photo shown before. Perhaps this would be the way we could see their houses. Nasty commute for them.

Of course if the only NPC homes that were shown were the NPCs' who would actually live full time on the island it might be better. But to include not only Isabelle and the Nooklings (+ Nook), but also the lizard thing, and the new Chip, and the new Joan, etc... just doesn't sound feasible space wise.

Shame about the resolution, but I'll take any info I can get at this point!

Definitely seems like Aerobics are coming back which is really cool.
