Hello, I had a few more questions regarding island transfers. I've had several answers questioned, thank you Miss Missy.

So here's my new batch of questions. I'm sorry, I know there's a lot of text.

Question 1:
If my mother where to transfer islands, can I send another villager over to the new island and they still maintain the friendship?

Question 2:
If I start a new island on a new switch, can I create it under the same nintendo switch I'd that the first island is on? I guess I'm wondering that can I have 2 islands under the same ID on 2 switches for online, since I have single person online. I'm only concerned about online for switch number 2.

Question 3:
If question 2 is able to be done, can I play locally between my island representative from "old island" and "new island" despite them being both under the same nintendo switch I'd? Or would I have to use "Character 2" to transfer?

Um from looking it up, I found this image on GameFaqs that details what will be transferred when a resident moves between systems. So her house, catalog, critterpedia, etc... should all be intact. Of course if she's going to be the island rep of the new island, she'll need to do the early game tutorial stuff to unlock being in a house. From what people were saying (like third hand) in the thread with the image, I believe any museum donations she may have made on your island will be changed to say something like 'donated by an anonymous donor'.

Thank you very much! This helps a lot. I'm not sure if we will do this, because buying a new switch for one game is a lot of money, but I'm not totally against the idea... but this information really helps in making that decision.

I play with 2 Switches, and 2 NSO profiles, so I am not exactly sure I am answering this 100% correctly but I'll try.

A1:

This one is a bit confusing on the point of view. Is your mother a non-island rep?

Is your plan to move your mom from Island-A to Island-B, and then move an animal-villager from island-A to island-B and maintain friendship between your mom and said animal-villager?

If so, I believe the answer is yes.

A2:

You can create it under the same Nintendo account, but this might render your ability to play online at the same time with the 2 island-reps impossible. And if you own the a single digital copy of the game, you might be unable to start the game at the same time on each Switch. Playing one at a time however shouldn't be a problem.

A3:

If you own 2 copies of the game, I believe you'll be fine. If you own a single digital copy, it may be tricky or impossible to load the game on 2 Switches at the same time. From what I recall, you will have a primary Switch and a non-primary Switch linked to your Switch account and digital purchase. The non-primary Switch requires internet connection to start the game as it needs to do validation checks

This is mostly why I decided to go the route of owning 2 copies of the game on 2 individual Nintendo accounts.
