New to AC Online, I have a question

Okay I've just got my friend code from the Dog on the right.
How do I go into other Towns, like do we both have to add each other?
Another thing I would like to know, is my town always open to my Friends Code list?

Yea, somebody has to add u/you add somebody and they accept. You click (on the right dog) "Visit towns" or somethin like that, and it starts searching. It'll show if people have open gates, click on their name if its open, and your set Hope this helped.

Both parties have to have added each other before you can visit each other. In order to allow people enter your town, you must Open your Gates for everyone.
