New to New Leaf

Hello everyone! I've been playing AC since Wild World, and I recently decided to get New Leaf as well.
I haven't been playing for long, almost a week.
Right now my villagers are Leonardo, Pecan, Ed, Monty, Nate, Peggy, Pekoe and Fuchsia.
I got the Garden Shop today, so you can imagine that I'm not far along.
My town fruit is apples, but I have oranges and cherries growing. Soon I'll have durians too, just need to get a new axe. Haha.
