I love the map but I can't help but wonder, why no ponds?
Are pond fish removed from the game? That seems weird.

I think in this one the river connects directly to the pond at the top.

omg this is HUGE. there is so much about this teaser trailer that i love.

the beautiful evening sky! (will look amazing on halloween.) the deep blue night sky with wispy clouds! the map unlike maps we've seen before! more multiplayer gameplay! fences that go all the way around greenery! timmy--or maybe tommy--walking around on the homescreen! that cute new little water jug! those weeds looking a bit different from the ones we've seen before! (maybe it's summer during the trailer?) pears on trees! the birdbath! the crafting stump near the house! (looks like it'll be a moveable item like the crafting table.) the red versions of one of the new flowers (called gerberas i think)! the lovely lighting on that front door! that scene on the beach! i need a direct right now!!!

and speaking of the house... do you guys think we'll see the return of outdoor customization with nooks homes? the roof of the house is purple like someone pointed out earlier in this thread. it feels like we've only seen basic houses with wreathes outside so far. i hope we get closer to HHD levels of home customization.

i remember seeing a little bush graphic or two embossed on the back plate of the animal crossing special edition nintendo switch. it was just a plain one, probably for simplicity's sake, but i think we can expect to see bushes return. nintendo is mostly showing off and teasing new things at the moment.

They seem to have been showing mainly just early gameplay, so maybe bushes are unlocked later on? I hope.

The map makes it look like there are 3 accessible layers in that town. The level indicated by the lightest green seem pretty large, in comparison to this map, where it looks like there isn?t much space to do anything in the highest level:



And it looks like a piece of land protrudes onto the beach in this new map, which is interesting.

I've seen one, but it was next to a house. Like in a plant box or something.

I hope we can still plant them, as having no new trees and taking away bushes is a step backwards.

I also like the crafting table in the middle of the garden. I wonder how many of those we'll get to place, if at all.

Yeah, those are part of the house. They’re pretty much placeholders since the space for our houses have been 3 x 5 since WW. Since we no longer have a fence around our house they’re using the bushes until you decide to expand your house.

I was so excited for the trailer! Unfortunately it was sooo short. Hopefully we get a direct soon...the game is only 46 days away. So really at this point...I don't think there will be one. But OMG only 46 days.
