Next AC Game - arguments for WiiU and new 3DS

Okay, as my idea blog is finally over, I'm going over some reasons why the next game would be for one system and why the game shouldn't be for the same system. First section, I'll talk about the WiiU. Then I'll talk about the new 3DS.

WiiU:​

The WiiU is the 6th major console released by Nintendo. It's also the third console since AC's debut. I'm kinda thinking that the WiiU needs an Animal Crossing game.

Reasons why Animal Crossing's 5th game should be available for WiiU:

1. The WiiU is a failing system. More exclusives and third party games should be sold to save the WiiU so it won't fail like Little Big Planet Karting. Releasing an AC game for the WiiU will save the sales even more.
2. Despite being part handheld, we already had a handheld release last time. The console should come next.
3. Consoles can store more memory than handhelds in general. That, and the Wii doesn't even have a full gigabyte of internal data, compared to the 8 gigabytes the WiiU has.

Reasons why it shouldn't be made for the WiiU:

1. According to this poll, Animal Crossing works better on handhelds than it does on consoles. Most games are better off for consoles or PC, but some like Animal Crossing is better for handhelds.
2. If AC doesn't help improve the WiiU's sales, it won't sell as well, just like City Folk.

New 3DS:​

The New 3DS is an improvement to the older version. There have been many different versions of DSs since 2004. Another 3DS game might work.

Reasons why Animal Crossing's 5th game should be available for New 3DS:

1. Like I said before, Animal Crossing is one of those few game franchises that works better on handhelds than on consoles.
2. New Leaf was successful as a handheld game.
3. Some of the 3DS exclusive features may be retained as traveling to other towns works both ways.

Reasons why it shouldn't be made for the New 3DS:

1. The last version was on a handheld. We don't need two handheld versions in a row.
2. There was already a 3DS version. Another 3DS version, discriminating the old 3DS would make it worse.

I definitely think it should come on the Wii U. It would just be pathetic to make it come out on the 3DS again, they never did that with the other ones, nor should they!
