When was the last time they expanded our inventory storage?

They've added LOTS of new items to the game of late, it really feels like it's time for an expansion of our storage allocation.

I'm not imaging this, am I?

Furniture/Clothes inventory is pretty high, so you probably won't hit the limit unless you're crafting multiple of a lot of items. If you do, you'll just have to sell items you don't care about anymore or give them to Gulliver.

Items inventory is rarely increased without use of LTs because they don't want you saving it. They want you to have spend time fishing, harvesting fruit, catching bugs, etc. When you're close, you either need to do more tasks or put them up for sale in your market box.

Understood about clothes/furniture. I'm referring to our on person inventory. They've added at least half a dozen new items to harvest (bugs, special fish, etc) and it just feels like its time to allow more space to carry all the new items.

Is there a way to know how much furniture you have? If I ever hit the limit, I’ll be sad because even if I delete a bunch of dupes, I’ll know I’ll always be close to the limit.

Not that I'm aware of, but the limit is 3,000 for each, so you'll have to get quite a lot of dupes. There's less than 2,000 items for furniture and less than 600 pieces of clothing, so I think you're safe.

Back when the limit was 2,000, it was more likely you'd hit the furniture limit, but not so much anymore.
