NFC Reader in 2019

Has anyone been able to find an NFC Reader cheaper than the $50 ones found on Amazon recently?
I don't want to shell out money for a new 3DS when my old one works fine and I am possibly getting a switch soon.
I can't seem to find them anywhere

I looked into it and they seem gone. All stores have them priced way above the standard price but they're out of stock soo

That’s strange. I got mine for about $20 around December. If it could change that drastically in just a few months then it could change again, possibly? Maybe look at some used ones online if you haven’t yet? Hope you find one! Good luck!
