Nintendo online plus

hi guys,
I saw this new subscription mentioned in the direct so I looked it up but I need some clarification if anyone knows(I realize this is all new). So first question is do you have to have the plus membership to play happy home paradise? If I do get the plus membership does it include happy home paradise or is that an additional $25? As far as I could find the plus membership(aside from anything ac related) seems like it just gives access to some nintendo 64 and sega genesis retro games. For me that's hardly worth an extra $30 a year. Is there more to the plus membership that I missed? Thanks

To clear up the confusion since I've seen so many misinformation going on. If you ignore the N64 expansion pack and you just get the paid AC update thats only $24.99 you don't actually need the online expansion pack to play the new paid update. Its only if you get the Expansion online for N64 then the AC update comes for free.

Yes, that seems to be all the expansion pack adds to the Nintendo online membership.

Thank yall! For me happy home paradise will probably be worth $25 but not if I had to pay another $50 for the plus membership. I'm not a big gamer to begin with(pretty much just ac and occasionally story of seasons/harvest moon) so i don't care about the retro games. I only have the normal nintendo online for ac or I wouldn't bother with it at all. So glad I don't have to get the plus membership.
