Nintendo releases a calendar of Animal Crossing characters birthdays - is this a hint

If you log in to your MyNintendo account, you can redeem platinums coins/points to download a printable calendar that contains the birth dates of 442 Animal Crossing characters (including special service characters like Isabelle, Tom Nook, Timmy, Tommy, Pelly, etc.)



Is this an unofficial, but still, good indication (list) of the villagers that will appear in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?

Can it be printed right now? If so, I don’t think it means anything since they wouldn’t reveal all of the new villagers and NPCs already, on a calendar no less. Hello Kitty villagers are in Pocket Camp and they have known birthdays, but don’t appear on this list.

I don't think that the new beaver character on the cover art will replace Chip. It will most likely be a son or nephew of Chip and they will have a fishermen's shop together or something like that. Just like when Timmy and Tommy joined the franchise to help Tom Nook. It's just not something that the developers of Animal Crossing seem to do - completely replacing a beloved character by someone new.

Therefore, I thinkt he calendar might reveal most of the characters of New Horizon on purpose. I mean, someone from Nintendo worked on a calendar specifically for 2020. Come on, it's crystal clear that they're aware of the information they're releasing with this calendar. Of course this is somehow connected to the main Animal Crossing title that is soon to be released.

I'm glad this calendar lists a lot of the villagers from Animal Crossing: New Leaf Welcome Amiibo. I've always wanted some of the ones that were introduced to the game when the update happened, but I couldn't get their Amiibo cards in time, so hopefully some of the new ones like Piper can move in randomly and not just with Amiibo cards.

I'm not really sure whether or not this is a hint for anything at the moment because apart from marking 3/20 as the ACNH release, it's identical to the 2019 calendar when it comes to what's listed.
