Nintendo Switch item

So I saw there was a Nintendo Switch in the game's shop. Anyone know if it lets you play a game like the Wii U and 3DS did in New Leaf? Did they bring over Island Escape? I would be cool if they just brough that over instead of making a new one, because Desert Escape was fun. I would be cool with something new if it was just as good though.

It doesn't, at least not yet. I have both the Neon and AC:NH in-game Switch, and neither are playable.

I wish. All it does is make the Switch "click" noise and show the red and white Switch logo screen when you turn it on.
