Well, tomorrow, Nirvana's breakthrough album, Nevermind, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. It had some of their most famous songs "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Come As You Are" on it, which were released as singles over the course of 1991 and 1992.
I wonder how I should celebrate.

I think you're the only one on here that listens to Nirvana

God, I can't believe it's been that long ago. I feel seriously old now...
Haven't listened to Nirvarna for a long time now, I was a massive fan of them in my teens, all my friends were actually.
Might have to just have an hour of listening to their music now

Wrong i listen to it atleast 4 or 5 days of week almost every song they made even there live show are on my playlist.

many bands owe not only there sound to them, but they shaped music and a way of rebellion not only with style but with taste.

I wouldn't be surprised if I am, but it's still worth posting.

This year is also the 40th anniversary of ABBA's "Arrival".

Ew, I think I like ABBA even less than Nirvana lol.

Grats I guess though, each to their own music.

I wasn't insulting the band or anything but imo there doesn't seem to be any rock listeners here

I like Nirvana and all but even I'm not sure if that profile picture is allowed lol

I listen to rock sometimes, depends on my mood.
Led zeppelin is probably one of my favourites but I do like Nirvana too.

one of the most important albums of my early teenage years. it was old back then, but now it's even older! amazing.

I changed it for the anniversary though.

Wow, it's hard to believe the album is that old. I still listen to it once in a while.

You should celebrate by listening to some modern music of the songs on the album, as loud as you can, until the cops come.

there are some who said that nivarna stole their album cover idea from this one by a Florida punk rock band:

Naked babies in a pool must be the new thing lol

You can't be serious about the baby being offensive. That album cover is iconic.

I'm not a huge fan of theirs, but I've liked all the songs I've listened to from them, so that's pretty sweet! It's always irritated me that people think they wrote "The Man Who Sold the World", though.
