What if you're able to download a Nook Phone app to our real life phones that allows you to share pictures, patterns via QR code and other goodies?!

What do you think? Will this be the way forward with sharing our content? ✧︎*｡٩(ˊωˋ*)و✧︎*｡

I don't know if it would be a thing... I just don't know how else we can share patterns (இдஇ; )
Also it would be easier to upload pictures we take straight to social media since it's a pain in the gluteus maximus to try and share piccys via 3DS ∑︎(?口?๑)❢︎❢︎

A lot of players do... They love sharing their hard work and ideas and strategies for other players.
If other players hadn't documented things, I would've been so lost! (๑꒪ㅁ꒪๑)
It's through social media that we can keep updated about NH or we'd be in the dark and it's through social media that people find out about how amazing AC is! ୧꒰*?꒳`*꒱૭✧︎
I love creating patterns but I'm a little hopeless haha ฅ(? ﾛ ? ฅ)

i think it would be easier to make the app an in-game "app" that is actually just a portal to other online patterns. if nintnedo does use a real life app i see them most likely using the nintendo online app because that's what they did for splatoon 2, mario kart, etc.

i don't want to have to depend on another app separate from my switch... i would love something like in pocket camp where you can see your switch friends' patterns, with the added ability to sort and search or browse patterns and see what's popular or newly uploaded. i hope they give us more space for clothes and patterns honestly because it looks like customization will be a big focus in new horizons.

if we get a direct soon we will probably learn about online activities like pattern sharing!

Yes, Nookphone needs a way to share patterns, send texts to our friends, and transfer bells. If they’re gonna give us a phone, they should add the typical amenities! I want a calendar on the app too. I also think that Nookphone will be somehow connected to Nintendo switch online app, either to share patterns or download DLC. I don’t think it’s a strange idea to add a phone on the island. It might start out deserted, but a lot of people will probably develop it to look like an actual town with all the possibilities of landscaping. If that’s the case, it would be weird if we didn’t have a phone and only rely on mail still lol. I plan on going for a deserted/foresty vibe as long as I can, but I don’t think the phone would hinder the game play or illusion at all for me. As long as my mayor holding the phone out is not visible when I’m taking picturesque photos of my character around town, I won’t mind having it at all!

having a bank transfer app would be a life saver!! No more dropping bags of bells on the ground, just a quick and easy system. I also like the idea of it linking with the online app, so that we can share pictures with friends. I wanna show off how my island is going with my boyfriend and all my cool villagers and decor haha

I want to know if the mobile app is the only way to type to someone during a trade.

If this is how it is then the future of AC is dismal for me.

It should NOT be riddled with apps.. in game or out, and definately no phones.

If anyone knows if that mobile app is needed to trade, let me know now please.

I don't think AC is dismal just because they're adding a new feature. Lots of people have complained about how slow and inefficient it is to type out a message on the 3DS when hanging out or trading. I think it's going to help us communicate much more quickly.

Besides, this is about the Nook Phone. Not the one on our actual phones. I am sure it's not. You just go and invite people over through the Dodo Airlines building, I'm pretty sure it can be assumed as such from watching the part of the direct that had the "Dodo code" detail.

But either way, I don't see how all of these little details are somehow making ACNH so horrible and disappointing? Every game has added a new element. I understand that waiting for it is kind of difficult and it's worrying to consider a lot of the possible changes and how they might effect how the game feels, but maybe it's better to try and focus on the super fun parts instead of dismiss the game as dismal for all the tiny little things that seem pretty small in comparison to the bigger picture of the game.
