I have always had one complaint about the Bell Tree Forums: no notifications! There is no easy way I can find out if somebody replied to me on a topic. What do you think? :smileeyebrow:

pretty sure this is a feature that vBulletin has/supports

so when TBT jumps over to that in however long it takes to get the new forums up (see the announcements section for that topic), it'll likely be an option.

if not, then lolwut

Ok, thanks. :)

This isn't facebook! And actually there is a way to see who has replied to your posts. Scroll all the way to the bottom, beneath the active users/shoutbox and click the link.

I absolutely hate notifications. Sorry, but I don't see the appeal of checking your email and getting 20000 messages about replies.

I think he means a pop-up when you log on.

@Miranda
I think he means notifications for posts that quote him in a thread he didn't make.

vBulletin does it really nicely in that all posts that are quoted are listed in your UserCP, so we'll have to wait until we move over to there.

which is why it's an option. :p

still, it's pretty easy to just make a filter for the address the notifications come from..

When you have got a new pm you can see it in the right corner near the "ground".
