I feel obligated to play Animal Crossing Gamecube right now because the game is obsolete now but at the same time I really want to boot up my old Gamecube to feel that rush of nostalgia once more and actually work hard on making a perfect town and I missed out on doing some things that I never completed. My biggest fear of that game was trying to catch that darn banded Dragonfly!!

Now that I have an understanding of what a perfect town is I know that I can achieve that goal!

But I swear to god I am NOT catching that silly dragonfly! Nope...nuh uh!

I just started maybe a week ago or so on a save file from 5 years ago. It's a nostalgic rush. The game holds up well. I'm really enjoying myself.

I have the same mentality as you. I want the perfect town. I acheived perfect town status about 2-3 days ago. Seriously. I don't know if I'm just older and more conscious of how I play or I have lucked into it. Either way... I'm on my way to the golden axe. And that would just propel me forward to collect everything else... ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!

I had this game a few years back but lost it, most likely during a move. But last night I called a game store that sells older console games, and on a rare chance, they had it. I asked them to hold it, and when I got there to pick it up, the game still had the book that came within as well. Even though it is a new game save, it still brought back some pleasant memories. I have forgotten quite a bit but refreshed my memory when I looked up some information on the internet. I've never attempted a perfect rating for any of my towns, but I think I'm going to give it a try this time around. The only thing I haven't figured out is how to get the other fruit.

someone would have to give you fruit from another town or i think the villagers might give it to. If you ever want any different fruit I can send it to you.
