What are some food combinations you love, but you know are a little strange*? Stuff like...pickles and peanut butter, chocolate and cheese, fries dipped in milkshakes, ice cream with soy sauce, etc.

One of my biggest things is putting balsamic vinegar on anything I can get away with. Nice quality balsamic is just so so sooooo flavorful and I love it on things that really don't call for it - pizza, french fries and roasted potatoes/yams, rice, sauteed peaches and pears, fresh strawberries, I've even had it as a base for gelato and it was amazinggggg. They don't seem that out there to me since my mom's side of the family loves vinegar everything, but I've gotten some questioning looks from friends.

*"Strange" being totally subjective of course

or it was originally used as cereal.. idk

I haven't had it with Maltesers specifically, but I love popcorn mixed with chocolate bits, yum. Marshmallows are good too, actually.

I mix mini-M&M's with multi-grain cheerios. I don't know if that's weird. I also totally ruin Mie okonomiyaki by adding a little lemon juice. For some reason, it's totally delicious.

sardines, herring and oysters in my "souper-meal" (ramen)

chicken nuggets with maple syrup or grape jam
grapes and hummus X_X

Chocolate and bacon, corn and macaroni and cheese, maple syrup and jimmy dean sausage, eggs and soy sauce, and cheetos and strawberry pop tarts.

Yorkshire pudding and maple syrup? I'm not sure if that's weird but I like it!
And ketchup with pretty much ANYTHING lol
One of my weirdest creations with ketchup is peas with ketchup!

I put salt and lemon on everyrhing i like it on strawberries and i put lemon in soups and rice

fritos corn chips with a dab of mustard on top.
