Mistwood is still brand new. There's no theme to it, but I'm having fun working on it. But today, I was struck with true inspiration for a town I've been wanting to do for ages. I only have a digital copy of the game, and my brother lost the physical cartridge I gave him, so having two towns is out of the question. I REALLY want to start this new town, but I've collected so much for Mistwood, I would feel like a jerk deleting it so soon. I don't know what to do! D:

Don't delete your town if you still enjoy it. If you really want a second town, you should probably invest in a cartridge copy of the game, even if you already had one before that you don't have anymore. They're not too expensive these days.

I'm not supposed to be spending money. My husband and I are on a budget right now. I know they're super cheap, but I feel like that's money I could put toward buying AC for the Switch when it comes out. I might just see if someone can hold the items I want to keep and make a new town. I've really got some grand ideas that I am excited for.

Is it not possible to incorporate the ideas in Mistwood now?

Since buying another copy is out of the question rn, I would say think about the new idea for a few days, write out lists and such of villagers, themes, houses, ect.. If you are thinking about restarting vs not.

Ooh this is so hard. Stell-Io had a great suggestion to see if you can incorporate ideas from your 'new' theme into your existing town. If you have collected a lot for Mistwood, I would hate to see you regret it! It's good that you have a goal to save up for AC Switch, definitely keep that in mind and work towards your long term goals! You can create a lot of magic in simply recreating bits and pieces of your existing town. Good luck!

Maybe just work on building the town you have now until you can afford a second hand copy.
Just enjoy playing and helping out your villagers and collecting everything you don't have c:
Sometimes we get stuck on ideas that soon fade, stick with this town for a while and see how you feel later on~

Lol, I am impulsive and deleted Mistwood. I got someone to hold all the items I wanted to keep, so I feel good about restarting. Thanks for all the suggestions, tho.
