Old Villager came to haunt me on my new island!

In 2020 on my old island I had Graham move onto my island out of the blue from a friend's island who kicked him out. I was livid when he just showed up on my island because he took the spot of someone else I really wanted before I could get them, anyway eventually managed to get him off and forgot about him or so I thought.

So about a week ago I reset my island and I just got my camp done today and had my first villager before I went in there to see who it was I said "Can you imagine if its that hamster from my old island that I absolutely hated"

Walk in through the tent doors, and dam who greeted me with a big ass stupid smile. Yeah that little arghhh Graham.

I was pure fuming, can't wait to get him back off my island (Luckily I have an ambiio I can use to kick him off ASAP)

Anyway, else end up with the first camper being someone they absolutely hate, or have the same thing happen to them?

I didn't realise at first that you had to move in your first camper, so when I walk in and saw Phil I walked straight back out and waited the full day to get another camper! by morning I'd realised I had to let him in and complained the entire time. but funnily enough my friend actually also got Phil as her forced camper so we suffered through it together.. although he left her island far earlier than he left mine. at least you have an amiibo to use!

not really on a reset island but i love rodney a whole ton and had him on sleeptime for quite a while before letting him go

so on raindrop i stay outside the tent and i look to my gf and go "what if its rodney, wouldnt that be cool" LO AND BEHOLD

Bahaha im so happy this has never happended to me!! I've actually been pretty lucky in terms of not having villagers I dislike move to my island

its good you have an amiibo and can get him out asap lol!!

I don’t think I got a bad villager in my campsite on my original island or after I reset. I definitely relate to getting bad villagers from friends lol that’s the worst because you’re not expecting it at all. It happened to me once where I spent the day mystery island hopping for a villager and didn’t find anyone I liked so I was like ok I’ll go to sleep and continue tomorrow but by the next day I got Reneigh because she had moved out of my friends island. I was so disappointed. I have a ton of amiibos now though so if it ever happened again I would just move someone I liked in and move out the unwanted villager

Yup. A few months ago, my first camper was Ed.

I kicked him off soon enough with an amiibo card.

I reset in late November, and can you guess : Ed was my first camper again. I amiibo deported him once again...
