Fireflies surrounded me as I walked through the night at the somewhat bright graveyard. I not sure why fireflies follow me at night, but I find it kinda peaceful. No cloud was to be seen anywhere up the sky. I had this special feeling in my gut, that I was being followed. Suddenly the fireflies flew away, then the early peak of dawn had arrived.
As lonely as I was, I felt safe being alone. Alone made me feel unique inside, like I was the last human alive. But I wasn't. Apparently there are only five living humans left in the entire universe. I was one of the five, and I was lucky to be a human girl. Because that would meant I can reproduce. So in the next century there would be at least 100 children alive.
"Hey Hotaru! Come over here!" My best friend, Miyo, sprinted over to me. She represented the beautiful human, where her beauty was so strong not even death can grab it.
"Hey Miyo," I confirmed mysteriously. I represented the quiet, mysterious human, where I keep the darkest of secrets.
Then there's Luciano, who is the talented, social human. Where he has a gift at everything, and he loves to socialize. But sometimes he can be a bit flirty to women like us.
There two more humans, who we are not sure of at this moment.
On planet Coaline it is populated by vampires, elves, wizards, and angels. Since there are only five of us left, we are an protected species, so no one can hurt us.
Theres another planet, full of un-dead humans. The planet is called Earth. Now on Earth, if you die on that planet, you become one of the undead. No I am not talking about vampires or zombies, there is a curse on Earth that was put on that planet 200 years ago. The curse turns you, into a soulless ghoul.
How do I know about all of this infomation? Easy, my uncle Kuro told me before he died when I was 10. That was six years ago.
"Hey do you know Luciano?" Miyo questioned confidently, while tying her shoelaces.
"The one who you mentioned thousands of times?" I said stubbornly while resisting the sun's powerful rays.
"Yeah, he wants to ask you out!" She shrieked excitedly.
"Pff yeah right, who would want a girl like me?" I stood up, cleaning my shirt with my handkerchief.
"Damn it! I can never trick you!"
