So, currently, I am planning on theming my island around an aviary and having all bird villagers (Regular birds, chickens, ducks, eagles, ostriches, penguins) in it. My shortlist that I've obtained so far is:

I just need a normal, but I'm a bit in-between a couple (Gladys, Molly, Ava, Midge, etc) and decided to just put out an opinion poll on the normal bird villagers. I'd also love to know if anyone else is doing a similar thing in theming all of their animals around a certain something.
no theme for me but i just voted aurora! i think she's super cute. but molly would be a second choice for me an aviary-themed island sounds really cute!
Molly and Sandy are my personal favorites, I voted Molly though since Sandy's a bit of an oddball!

I'd probably say either Ava or Midge by a wide margin.
Ava because I can because I think she'd fit well with Egbert, who's also a chicken. I don't think you could go wrong with any of these choices, honestly. Midge is a pretty interesting case because I don't really give a second thought about her but at the same time I'm 90% sure most of us have grown to know and love her, so there's that.

I think my vote was obvious My b-b-baby has been my best villager friend since 2002! Also her house interior now is an ice palace and she plays Stale Cupcakes.
My favorite is Aurora out of these choices!! But Midge is also a close second and then Celia, Molly, and Sandy in no particular order.
Edit: And Gladys actually omg I didn't see her on the list!! Ostriches are super underrated and she might actually be my favorite over Aurora for her design but I'm gonna stick with my initial vote because I like Aurora's house better in this game... actually, I'm gonna try ranking the choices you put for the poll:

I was stuck between Molly and Midge. Tough pick for me. I did vote for Molly because I've had her before and I did enjoy her company very much but I also find Midge's design to be very cute, definitely my second pick!

i personally have gladys in my town bc i love that she is actually a crane and her house w the loom and asian theme is just v sweet. she could be settled in a pond/waterway area in your aviary town !
but also aurora is also a rly nice choice if you have an area in the theme you want to be quite cold and have a penguin for !
