Opinion on Derwin?

For 12 days now I have been playing animal crossing wild world and my favorite villager so far because he is just too cute and I like how he looks like the stereotypical nerd and his lazy personality fits him so well.

And I really do like his dialogue which is a combination of adorableness and weirdness.

One time in acww Camofrog and Derwin had a conversation that ended with Camofrog insulting both of us and calling us idiots which made Derwin cry and that made me hate Camofrog and now I am doing what I can to kick him out of my town.

What do you think of Derwin as a villager and what do you remember about him the most like conversations and letters?

Camofrog is cranky and the lazy villagers do get upset easily.

Tis up to you. If you like the look of him, and want a lazy duck, keep him. ^_^

He has a unique design, and that counts for something in my book since I tend to prefer distinguishing features when it comes to designs. That said, he's not a villager who I would keep around for any real period of time if he were a starting villager in a town, and I likewise wouldn't ever seek him out. There are simply too many other villagers whose designs I like and who I want to have in future towns that couldn't fit into my New Leaf towns for one reason or another (town theme, 10 villager limit, etc.) He's not a bad villager as far as I'm concerned, just not one I have any real interest in.

Derwin is not bad. I too had him in my Wild World town and he does have some pretty unique dialogue. I actually do like villagers with unique designs and his silly nerdish look really appeals to me. He's not one I would keep in my town, but hey, I like any villager in my town. So if he wanted to stay, that's fine with me. I'm not really the type of person to have so called "dreamies" in my town, so if I had Derwin, he can stay.

At first I wasn't his biggest fan, but after he stayed for a while in my town, I actually started to like him more. Also his look is kinda adorable.

I think he's the most well designed "nerdy" villager, though they don't appeal to me. He never appeared in my game though, so I don't really have an opinion about him.

As you can see,I like some of the geekier villagers in the game and Derwin is probably the geekiest(Quillson is pretty darn close though).I like his unnatural blue color and of course,his X-ray specs.I think he and Pate might have been designed to be brother and sister(That's Mallary in this screenshot.I don't have a shot with both Pate and Derwin unfortunately).

I've never had Derwin in a town yet, so I don't have a strong opinion of him. I think he's kind of cute, in a nerdy way of course. I could see myself growing to love him if he ever moved into my town, but he's not a villager I'm likely to go out of my way to adopt either.

I had a friend who loved him dearly that even his account name was that. xD
I myself is not biggest fan of this nerdy duck, but due to the memory of this dear friend, I have warm feeling on him now.

He was one of my starters. Of course, he left town eventually since he wasn't a permanent villager. I don't plan on having him in my town again because I'm not a big fan of his design.

I don't dislike Derwin, but I don't particularly like him either. I've just never had him in a town before. If I did, maybe I could end up liking him. Similar to how I grew to like Moose after he lived in my town for a while.

I do not have a strong opinion either way on Derwin. I don't like the bird villagers. They have birds flying around so I find it weird that there are sentient birds too.

Derwin is my all-time favourite villager! He‘s the cutest villager I’ve ever seen! Also, we both share a birthday (25th May)!

He's so cute! I first saw him when I got his card in a mystery amiibo card pack. I like his blue colouring and his dorky look. He gets a thumbs up from me

Derwin is my all-time favourite villager, and I share a birthday with him. I invited him via amiibo card because I love him so much. He runs around a lot on my island, and if he’s not doing that then he’s talking about food. I think he’s easily the best lazy villager and if anybody hates him then they’re weird. I think he’s adorkable (adorable + dorky) and cute. I’m surprised he isn’t more popular. And his catchphrase is great. Derwin’s the best villager ever, you can’t change my mind! Derrrr!
