Painters/artists i need your help lol

so i am painting this giant pic of some characters i like from a show-- its all done except it needs lineart because i painted it so that i would need lineart to look normal and match the show's style ASDGHJJKL
My trouble however is finding a brush that is good for lineart?? like... I have some small brushes but they're too small and hold paint for like a milisecond before running dry and its way too difficult especially on longer lines, and at some angles its thicker so its just difficult. i tried a sharpie paint pen, but my canvas is so bumpy due to some of the paint layers getting a bit chunky, that it made the lines extremely hard to control and wobbly.
so i concluded i just need a good brush for lineart instead

going to try to find something at hobby lobby today but i need some advice. does anybody know of a brush that is good for lineart on acryllic paintings? thanks

I'm probably too late on this but for line art I would probably use a Round brush (one that comes to a point). Soft, dense bristles would be better than rough bristles and should hold a lot more paint for longer. You may even want to make sure to use a more fluid acrylic paint (the ones that come in the tubes may be a bit too thick for your line art goals). Fluid acrylic paint in general is much easier to mix and use, especially on a nice palette (I use palette paper).

What kind of paint did you use on the canvas? If it's acrylic, you may have to change the consistency of the paint using water or acrylic medium. You can play around with this to see what works for you. Diluting acrylic with too much water will change its property to be more like watercolour, which might not show up on the areas you already painted as it wont stick to the surface. Using acrylic medium will stick to the surface. I haven't painted in a long time but I used round brushes and rigger brushes for details. Use synthetic brushes if you are having trouble with paint drying out. They don't absorb water as easily as natural brushes.
