I LOVE waffles, especially with berries. Even when the berries melt on the hot waffle, it adds a sweet, refreshing flavor. I like traditional butter and syrup too.
I guess I’m not surprised they’re my favorite, as my paternal great-grandparents were Belgian immigrants. Their family and neighbors got together to make waffles once a year (?) or so I heard. I’ve got syrup in my blood lol.
I love both waffles and pancakes, but I voted for pancakes because I can make waffles anytime by putting some in the toaster, whereas pancakes are more involved (and I am lazy) so I don't have them as often. So this artificial scarcity makes me value pancakes more lol
(I've only had french toast once or twice and I think I liked it? But it's been so long I can't really remember what it tastes like)
I haven't had any of the options in ages, but I've always had this weird craving for pancakes for the longest time that I haven't chosen to satisfy, so I'd go with them. Waffles would be right behind them. I think I only had french toast once in my life but didn't care for it too much.
I like both pancakes and French toast, I used to like waffles a lot as a kid but now I don't know why but I just don't like them that much anymore, I think it's just because pancakes and French toast are more fluffy whereas waffles are more crispy to me, but idk.
French toast! I don’t eat it often, but it is the best option.
Someone on this forum recommended to use thick, Texas toast bread for extra fluffiness, which I agree. I like to add syrup and sprinkle some powder sugar on top.
If I want to make it extra unhealthy, then I’ll add a slice of bacon on the side.
