If you give him a scallop, he will give you cool furniture, or a chance of the special wallpaper/carpet. PLUS he has awesome wisdom, maaaaan xD

Edit: After you get the furniture, you can buy it from the catalogue. The wallpaper/carpet, however, isn't. After you get what you want, yeah, he's sort of pointless. I still give him scallops just to see what he has to say

Look on your beach, You will find the following:
Porcelleta
White Scallop
Scallop (Theese are what you give him)
Coconuts (bury theese on the beach for coconut trees)
Pearl Oyster (theese sell for 1,000bells each so watch for theese)
Conch
Coral
and theres a couple more

The most valuable shells are:

- Pearl Oyster (1.200 bells)
- White Scallop (Pascal will NOT take this, he will only accept a normal one)
- Scallop
- Conch
- Venus Comb

Pascal gives you items from the Pirate Theme, and he shares a wisdom with you. Don't talk to him unless you have a scallop with you (not attached to a letter, he won't take it) otherwise he will swim off and you've missed your chance. <3
