It’s only been a day since the 1.2a update and Nintendo has already released patch 1.3 for Animal Crossing New Horizons.

The latest patch is just a small fix addressing a bug where balloons wouldn’t spawn under certain conditions.

Since the Bunny Day event started on April first, players have been popping balloons like crazy. Not only do special Bunny Day themed balloons drop sky eggs and themed recipes but normal balloons now also drop seasonal cherry blossom themed DIY recipes which, in my opinion, are gorgeous.

Unfortunately a bug appeared when a player had popped 300 balloons, they would stop spawning.

Luckily, this issue should now be fixed by this patch.

I've popped 300 balloons. This will this allow me to start getting balloons again, right?

Glad to see the fix come out quickly. I'm nearing 300 balloons now. :)

I didn't even know this was a thing originally until I saw a PSA on one of my discord servers. :c

Great. I'd been avoiding the bunny balloons as I so want the gorgeous sakura items.

Can someone confirm it’s actually fixed? Since villagers appear to still not work sometimes.

Yes if you have popped over 300 balloons they should start spawning again for you! :)

Aubrey895 - you're mentioning something about villagers? Sounds like an issue relating to patch 1.1.2. What bug are you experiencing exactly?

Not me personally, but people on gamefaqs are saying it’s not fixed.

That was fast which is great. I was avoiding a lot of the balloons yesterday because of this glitch so it's great that they rolled out a fix really quickly for us.

That was quick!! I'm really loving that they listen and update regularly. Really good from Nintendo.

I really appreciate the team's rapid response to fan complaints. It bodes well for future updates.

Yes. This has been fixed. I find this fix more of a top priority for me than the villager one. (I have all of my dream villager's amiibo cards, so i'm okay with that)

Kudos to Nintendo on fixing things quickly, this clearly shows that they are hearing out the fanbase. :)
