I call this piece “Winter In Kansas,” where it can be 29 degrees, then 74 degrees, then 29 degrees again within the same week. We’ll have a foot of snow in a month, probably. Here in Anthology, Ballad poses in a thick snowflake sweater, a cozy holiday cap, a snowflake satchel, and a pair of shorts. She’s in her workshop creating all kinds of weird and wonderful gifts for her animal friends. (Also, in honor of me having to justify my own shorts to my incredulous library coworkers every time it gets unseasonably warm again. I don’t dress for the month, you guys, I dress for the temperature!)
