Edit: Yes, they hack for a reason. They THINK they will have fun, and they get greedy, bored, and impatient. You don't honestly think they are intelligent enough to realize that hacking would be boring, do you?

first off, it takes a lot more than 5 minutes. Second you can still enjoy doing stuff around town, sure the rewards lose meaning but should you do things for your neighbors just because they will give you something? No you should because you are neighbors. Some people hack to show off what they can hack on you tube and stuff and that takes time to get right.

Edit: I'm defending myself. What is the difference? And yes, hacking does defeat the purpose of the game, that's why they have to hack the game's coding to accomplish it.

it isn't fun to you but it is fun for other people!
That is dictating because you are stating it as a fact not an opinion.
An opinion would sound more like this, " I just don't think hacking is all that fun and ruins the game for me". It is personal and doesn't force the view, by saying "that isn't fun PERIOD" you are casting that as the view of everyone, and it isn't.

I hate stereotyping and that is about what this boils down to. "Some hackers ruin the game, ergo all hackers ruin the game" is flawed logic. I hate stereotypes, they are useful for recognizing general leanings but can be blown so far out of proportion and really hurt you sometimes.
