Nope, not all. Many people are getting copies of the game early. Store shutdowns have lead to some stores giving it out early to some people that preordered physical. Likewise, many got copies during the Limited Edition Switch sale on the 13th. There's multiple topics about this and many people showing their copies they got early on reddit.

You're fine, I was replying to another poster not at you. There isn't a main topic on here yet about it ( that I know of). People having been discussing it in several of the threads though. But I'm mostly referring to topics on reddit already discussing it.
guess its time to stay off the internet for a while. I dont mind spoilers from reviews or official trailers but i dont want to see or know the entire experience, espcecially those first moments on the island.

I just wish people on here would stop making threads about info that hasn't been officially released, at least not in a way that puts it very obviously in the title and the first sentence of the post without a spoiler.
I'm more worried about not getting my copy though because of the situation here, like our stores will just close without any hesitation or thought. They won't be giving out preorders even if it's a day early, and not all deliveries are working.

The manager of my local GameStop texted me this morning to tell me the midnight release was off, probably because a lot of people all crowding into the store at once was an awful idea. It stings a bit, but I feel like if corporate was going to close them down for the release, they would've mentioned it by now. With two popular releases on that day, we SHOULD be safe till at least Friday.
I'm more surprised that people are willing to risk the fact that they could have their channels pinged for breaking the street date if they aren't reviewers. But I am really careful about what I am clicking on. Though, I did crack and watch a reviewer because I was curious.

i've been consuming acnh info like crazy so i guess i'm not really avoiding spoilers, but i don't really want to see full, unfragmented gameplay at all because i want to experience that all myself (especially the whole landing + tutorial bits), so i'll be avoiding those channels/videos. thanku for letting us know!
