Welcome to this private Persona 4 roleplay! Only those I have invited may join. I apologise, this is to guarantee an easy to run and in depth story, I have had the best experiences with roleplays that are private. Once again I apologise if you wanted to join. This is a roleplay based off the game Persona 4, I do not own the rights to Persona 4 (just to be safe haha).Persona 4 takes place in the fictional, rural Japanese town of Inaba, which lies among floodplains and has its own high school and shopping districts. Unexplained murders have taken place in the small town, where bodies are found dangling from television antennas and their cause of death unknown. At the same time, rumour has begun to spread that watching a switched-off television set on rainy midnights will reveal a person's soulmate, known as the Midnight Channel. Our characters will venture into the TV World, a fog-shrouded realm filled with monsters called Shadows, which can only be accessed through TV sets. The teenagers will try to solve the mystery of these strange murders that seemed to be linked to the TV world with the powers they will discover within themselves… The power of a Persona.
Yasogami High School - The school our characters attend.
Central Shopping District - A small street of small shops. There is a petrol/gas station, noodle bar, an antique weapon bar, a chemist, a book shop and a few other minor shops.
Junes Department Store - A big shopping complex, also the base of operations for the teenagers to discuss the murder mystery. The plasma TV section is where the teenagers will access the TV world.
Okina City - The nearest big city to Inaba. There is a train station, a coffee shop, cinema, clothes shop and other stores.
The Mizuno Inn - The famous inn and hot springs located in Inaba. Famous people usually stay here.
The TV world - Can be accessed from entering a TV. It is foggy, mysterious and full of shadows. It is dangerous, you can not see fully without the 'special glasses' which will be given after you meet Teddie.
The Velvet Room - A strange room that can only be accessed by 'the chosen one' in his/her dreams (in the game it is the protagonist). It is blue and in the form of a limo, controlled by the mysterious Igor and his assistant Margret.

Please note, to make it easier for the story, my character will take the role of the 'protagonist' like Yu in the game. This will make it easier for me to navigate the story like it is in the game. If you would like to make a character similar to the one in the game/anime then go ahead, but change the look and name. Everyone should have between 2 to 3 characters each. Also each character must have a persona and a tarot card arcana related to it, like in the game. The friendships between each other will strengthen each others persona through 'social links' like in the game.
