Personality Type "Calculations"

According to the animal crossing wiki (including the animals who were cut), there are currently:

76 Jock Villagers (16.1%)
74 Lazy Villagers (15.7%)
71 Normal Villagers (15%)
65 Peppy Villagers (13.8%)
65 Snooty Villagers (13.8%)
63 Cranky Villagers (13.3%)
35 Smug Villagers (7.4%)
23 Uchi Villagers (4.9%)
472 in total

So it is already confirmed that we are not getting any new personality types, but what I want is an equal amount of characters per type (without swapping any cut animals personality, preferably (ASSUMING they all come back)), so that we have an equal chance of getting each type on our island. But that's 136 animals to even the score.

There are currently 73 removed villagers yet. If we don't include them, that's 399 current villagers.
If my calculations are correct (without the removed villagers) there are CURRENTLY:

55 Jock Villagers (13.8%)
59 Lazy Villagers [also excluding Felyne + Marty] (14.8%)
59 Normal Villagers [also excluding Chelsea, Etoile, Medli, + Viche; including Caroline but not Bliss] (14.8%)
48 Peppy Villagers [also excluding Cece, Chai, Epona, Rilla] (12%)
54 Snooty Villagers (13.5%)
55 Cranky Villagers [also excluding Ganon] (13.8%)
33 Smug Villagers [excluding Toby + Wolf Link] (8.3%)
23 Uchi Villagers (5.8%)

If we switched up the personalities of the removed characters (and they all came back), we may be able to even the score. I would prefer new animals join us as well but 136 sounds too unrealistic for them to add imo but yeah anyway these are just my ideas.
If we split up the remaining 73 into each respective category equally we may be able to semi-equalize the types. That would leave some of the removed villagers in their same personality type and some not.
Even if they did, I think they would definitely still need to add more, specifically more smug and uchi types.

Do you agree with me?
Also what animal would you like to see of a certain type? ie. lazy goat, uchi octopus
And what removed villagers personality would you definitely like to remain the same and/or like to change?

Ikr I wouldn't like that either. If they added all the oldies back and like 200 new ones that would solve all my problems lmao.
But then again, it would be harder for me to get my favourite villager Biskit so hmmmm

But also, we haven't seen them since the first game so their personalities could very well have developed into something else lol? idk

Well. Great content right there returnofsaturn. I agree with you leaving out the dumbass characters like Cece, Ganon, Medli, Wolf Link, etc. I don't think Nintendo will bring them back, at least at first. They do not really fit the Animal Crossing series.

Most of the old villagers that could be brought back have been MIA since Animal Forest E+ if I remember correctly. Some of them actually have never appeared outside of Japan. So their personalities could be switched to Uchi and Smug without much problem unless certain character designs really call out for a different personality.

You're so right, I don't think it would affect us english-speakers lol. Didn't even think about that!
There are probably some big japanese fans that might not like it so much, though. Hmm.

I think it might be a little strange at first, depending on the character, but if they really have improved dialogue like they said they had, I think we might be pleasantly surprised and welcome the change! I'd just like to add, that if they ever do a massive update like they did for NL, it would probably be for new personalities and some more welcome back characters that have been updated and tweaked a little depending on how they may have looked up begin with...

Let's not forget games like splatoon and Mario maker getting free dlc like new weapons or items for the game, so who says it's not possible for ACNH.

Where?

Villagers switching personalities is something Nintendo has done before for example with Ursala (Snooty -> Uchi). But I have not seen official confirmation anywhere on personality types being unaltered, or no new types being introduced, or others removed. I am not sure where the assessment that we know of any of this is coming from?

They confirmed it in an interview, you should be able to find it with a quick Google search!

Personally, I would love it if they brought back some old villagers and gave them some of the less common personalities. I remember Fuchsia being the only uchi villager I actually liked back when I was playing NL, so I wouldn't mind some more uchis (and smugs as well, since I dislike most of them lol). They did change some villagers' personalities in NL, but only if the villager in question hadn't been included in the previous game for the Wii, if I remember correctly (like Paula went from being peppy to uchi and so on).
