This wonderful being is forced by Tom Nook to work all day every day, with little to no free time. She has to stay in Resident Services 24/7 and only gets out five days a year, for the August fireworks shows and for New Year's Eve. Very rarely will Nook let Isabelle leave to get coffee from the Roost, and even then she has to get takeout and go straight back to work. He will also occasionally let her go outside for a workout, but she still has to stay in the Resident Services plaza. Isabelle has to get up at an ungodly hour to do the daily broadcast or prepare it, at the very least. And that's if she gets any sleep at all! It's a wonder she's still in good shape, staying in the same building and only getting outside for a few days a year would be extremely damaging to one's physical and mental health. No wonder she never wants to leave her vacation home! But alas, Nook will always force her to come back sooner or later.
