On March 20th, 2020, Pianta Bay was established as an island inspired by Pianta Village from Super Mario Sunshine. The name "Pianta" was chosen for its unique and island-like feel. The main resident, Malayna, was named for its Hawaiian vibe and given a Spring birthday during cherry blossom season. Other residents were also created to add diversity to the island's population.

Today I spent hours fixing the cliffs that i moved my museum to until I finally was happy with the layout and decided to relax and attend K.K sliders concert.

Rod decided to join in and listen to some relaxing music as well

This morning Isabelle told me that there was a visitor in the campsite and I just couldn't believe that someone was finally visiting the campsite as it seemed as if no one was ever going to visit the campsite ever again.

I rushed to see who was visiting and it appeared to be Rolf, but since he wasn't a dreamy, I didn't attempt to persuade him to move to the Island.

In other news, Leif was back on the island so I ordered some more bushes while he was here.

Tonight I found Wisp wandering around the Island and he promised to give me a reward if I helped him by retrieving his spirit pieces.

Even tho it wasn't that expensive, at least he gave me something useful for my kitchen.

On another note, I have started the steps to breed a blue rose and today I FINALLY got the purple rose needed to move on to step 2.

Isabelle announced that there was a visitor in the campsite.

As soon as I came out of my house, I rushed to see which villager was visiting and it appeared to be Billy and even tho he wasn't a dreamy, I decided to try to persuade him to move to the island and boot out Marina.

Afterwards, I found Kicks in the plaza and decided to see if he had anything new to buy

In other News, Jacques taught me the dozing reaction.

Later as I was wandering around my island, I bumped into Celeste and she gave me the pansy wand recipe.

Today Pianta Bay bids farewell to Jacques as yesterday I noticed he had a thought bubble and I spoke to him and he told me that he was thinking about moving so I decided to agree to let him move, but he will always be remembered.

This morning, I made sure to buy as many turnips I could from Daisy Mae so I could earn lots of bells

Afterwards, Ellie taught me the pleased reaction.

Later, I spent hours working on my marketplace area.

Here is a recap of what has happened on Pianta Bay since the last time I posted

Al moved out and I tried to visit some mystery tours to see if I could either find a dreamy or, at least, a villager that I liked, but sadly I couldn't find anyone that I liked so I decided to take a chance and let someone move in randomly. I ended up with Bianca from someones void, but am happy to have her living on Pianta Bay for the time being even tho she isn't a dreamy.

Zucker taught me the Bashfulness Reaction

Went on a Mystery tour and caught my first Scorpion for the Museum.

After I donated it, I went into the bug wing to check it out, and I was disappointed to find that the scorpion and tarantula were kept in separate displays. That’s because in New Leaf, you could watch them fight with each other!

I attended the ceremony for Pianta Bay's new bridge, and I really love how it looks with the waterfall.

Today, I agreed to let Chrissy move out as she had a thought bubble above her head. Even tho I surely will miss her, I decided to let her venture out to other islands.

On another note, Ellie told me a story as she was teaching me the fearful reaction.

This morning, I finally finished putting path down in my bamboo area.

Later, Agnes taught me the disagreement reaction.

Today, I was surprised to find Redd on my island as I was beginning to think that I would never see him again since the first time I met him

Yesterday, Baabara was walking around with a thought bubble so I spoke to her and she told me that she was thinking about moving so I agreed to let her move out in hopes of finding a dreamie.

So today, I was determined to find one of my dreamies on a mystery tour island. With luck, I was able to find Judy when I went to the island for the third time

Later, we had a meteor shower and I wished on some stars and at first, I thought Celeste wasn't on the Island, but finally found her hangin out on the beach.

I have been working toward getting my dreamies and so in the past few days, I decided to kick out smug, lazy, and cranky personality with amiibo in hopes of having a better chance of having one of the new villagers I still need in the campsite when I get a campsite visitor.

Right now, I haven't gotten Fawna moved in yet as I am still in the process of crafting for her before she will move in and replace Zucker, but while I was in the process of moving in amiibos, I noticed Bianca with a thought bubble so I spoke to her and agreed to let her move out and yesterday she finally moved! I used my nmt i have been saving and was happy to find Reneigh on an island and got her to move to Pianta Bay.

Yesterday, I bought about 1 million worth of turnips for the low price of 92 bells from Daisy Mae. This morning i was able to sell two pocket full of turnips at two different islands that was buying turnips for 512 and 490 bells and made about 4 million bells. I still have to sell the rest of the turnips I bought.

On Saturday, I decide to search for stamps in the museum since there was a stamp rally going on. Upon entering the fossil exhibit, I immediately found my first stamp. After collecting all the fossil stamps, Blathers gave me a fossil plaque as a reward. I then started searching for the bug exhibit stamps and, at first, had trouble finding one, but soon found my first stamp hidden in the next room. After I told Blathers that I finished collecting the bug exhibit stamps, he gave me a bug plaque as a reward for finding them. All that was left to find was the fish exhibit stamps. I didn't find one as I entered the exhibit, but soon found the first stamp in the next room in the abyss. After collecting all the fish exhibit stamps, I rushed back to Blathers to collect my last reward which was a fish plaque.

on another note, I finally got Fawna to move in by amiibo and replace Zucker.

I'm still also trying to breed blue roses and have finally gotten a hybrid red rose and am now trying to get a orange rose from breeding the hybrid red with white rose.

Yesterday, I was able to sell all of my remaining turnips at two islands that was buying turnips for 499 and 625 bells and now have 8 million in the bank.

Later that day, I decided to make a waterfall entrance inspired by some posts I saw on reddit.

Tomorrow, Pianta Bay will have a new bridge since I was able to pay it off today.

Later, as I was walking around the Island, Judy suddenly runs up to me and tells me how to do the intense reaction.

Yesterday, Rod confided in me that he was thinking about leaving Pianta Bay and venture to other islands, but was unsure if it was the right decision. I agreed that it was indeed a good decision because, even tho i would miss him, it was time for him to move on and bring happiness to someone else's island. Today, we bid farewell to him as he prepares to leave.

After I spoke with Rod yesterday, I went into Resident Services to speak to Tom Nook about moving coco's house because it was sitting in the middle of my path and I needed to put her house in the spot that I have planned for it to go.

Later that evening, Judy came up to me and taught me how to do the thought reaction.

Today, I was happy to find Redd on my island and decided to see what pieces of art he had to sell. Upon closer observation, I found the famous painting to be the only one that was genuine so I agreed to buy it.

Afterwards I decided to check the island rating with Isabelle and was shocked to find that Pianta Bay is now a 4 star island and is closer to becoming a 5 star island.

I started to work on my recreational area and I've finished decorating what I could as I still have some things that I have to find to put in it.

Afterwards, since Rod was officially moved out, I decided to go on mystery tours with the NMT I had saved to see if I could find a dreamie. After what seemed like hours, I was about to give up on finding anyone when I finally found Sherb.

Later, after I got back from the Island, I was walking around and suddenly I heard what sounded like a meteor shower and so I looked up at the sky and sure enough it was a meteor shower! I then rushed to see if Celeste was on the Island as well. I knew that usually I find her next to the beach so I went over to where the market area was and ran into her. I was hoping to get the moon chair recipe, but she gave me the asteroid recipe instead. ☹

After talking with Celeste, I went to my house and checked the mail because I had noticed that I had not checked it and it seemed I had received the famous painting that I bought from Redd the previous day. I then took it to the museum and gave it to Blathers to donate.

I decided to pay off my bridge and then call it a night as I was getting tired and was already wore out from going to all those mystery tours trying to find a dreamie.

Pianta Bay ~ 5-30-20

Today, I just wanted to check in and not do much as I want to take a break from playing hours at a time and just check in everyday to do daily tasks so I can play other games I haven't finished while waiting for Nintendo to do more updates. I welcomed Sherb to the Island as he moved in today. Afterwards, I checked Nook Cranny and bought some new items and then I checked the tailors shop and bought some new clothes.

Pianta Bay ~ 06-01-20

Today was the start of summer on Pianta Bay and with that comes new bugs and fish to catch for the museum.

On today's announcement, Isabelle told me that June is wedding season and love was in the air. Afterwards, I received a phone call and at first I thought it was just Timmy and Tommy paying me, but it was HARVEY. He told me that there were some folks who wanted special photos made and needed me to come and help. I quickly went to the airport and boarded the plane to Harv's Island and when I got there I was surprised to learn that the couple was none other than REESE AND CYRUS. Harv needed my help to decorate the room for Reese and Cyrus' anniversary photos. After I finished decorating the room, I spoke with Reese who asked if I would take the photos instead of Harv. I agreed to take the photos and afterwards Reese gave me a wedding bench and some heart crystals as a reward for taking them.

In other news, I have started trying to get Lolly to move in with amiibo to replace Spike and all I need to do is invite her one more time tomorrow and she will hopefully want to move in.

Pianta Bay ~ 06-02-20

Today, I decided to work on fixing the secret beach area now that I know that Redd shows up there. What I am thinking about doing for this area is make it into a secret beach music area by adding cliffs with a ramp that leads up to the music area and surround it with waterfalls.

Afterwards, I went to Harv's Island to help with Day 2 of the wedding photos. When I arrived, I spoke with Reese and she said that since we did the ceremony photos yesterday that she would like to do the reception photos today. I quickly began to decorate with pink/white theme in mind since that is the colors that Reese prefers. After I finished decorating and taking the photos, Reese told me that she loved that I captured the love and joy her and Cyrus shared in one photo and that Cyrus made me something special as a reward for taking the photos. After I received my wedding table and heart crystals from Reese, I went back to Pianta Bay and decided to check Nookazon to see if I could get some things I needed for my island and was able to trade some nook mile tickets for the gray pool and pink cute drink machine and then I queued at turnips.exchange and sold two pocketful of turnips for over 500 bells.
