Ok so I was wondering about the pigeon milk that Brewster serves.
So in real life, pigeons secrete crop milk, but that looks nothing like mammalian milk
And also that would be weird to put in coffee.
So I was thinking, what would it really be
and then I thought, perhaps it's just, milk... Made by a pigeon, by him... So, homemade plant milk?
I like to imagine him making like, oat milk or something from scratch and being really proud of it and calling it pigeon milk, I think that's really cute xD
I know people like to make jokes about this but I'd prefer to keep this wholesome. :)
What do you like to imagine the milk being?

Is this milk really a thing? I haven’t played since the update yet. And truthfully, I wouldn’t dare to imagine anything. Jeez.

Its literally the stuff pigeons feed the babies with. It isn't pretty looking, nor does it even remotely look like milk.

I'd just assumed it is vegan milk like oat or rice milk since cheese exists I always assumed it was plant-based. Same for the sausages (you can see both in the smoker.)
Yeah me too :D

Yeah there’s nothing actually weird about it. Hence why I said wholesome answers only. Nothing weird about feeding young, that’s what mammals do too. It just doesn’t make logical sense. So homemade plant based milk makes way more sense

You know, I should’ve specified. I meant, is it really a thing that Brewster offers.

i just assumed pigeon-branded milk, as in an alternative he made himself. (not necessarily from himself.) like soy or almond milk. maybe it's a milk blended from multiple different plant sources or just regular milk with an added "secret" ingredient, hence why it's pigeon-branded.

In both New Leaf and City Folk, Brewster has a container behind him that appears to house creamers. I’m assuming that’s the fridge for his milk/creamer brand. He must have a side business selling them, as most barista work doesn’t pay well!

I feel the game means crop milk, hence the prompt to reply "Ew, no" when Brewster offers. Also the lack of capitalization implies pigeon milk in the conventional sense, not a "Pigeon" branding,

He offered it in ACNL too I always just went with the theory it was legit pigeon milk and that's still my theory never bothered me lol.
