I heard GIMP is good. But i nothing about editing pics. Is it noob friendly?

I have always used GIMP because I could never get my hands onto Photoshop. It'll be easy for anything who knows Layers, Renders, etc. It would maybe take awhile to get used to it if your not familiar with Imaging Programs.

GIMP, Photoshop and MS Paint. I use Photoshop CS4 Extended Edition but it costs money... a lot of money.. So, I say go with GIMP. It's free and anyone can use it no matter the skill level!
