I'm so hungry right now I could eat a roast beef sandwich with chips

Or waffles with berries and whipped cream on top

Or maybe a slice of apple pie

I'm so hungry.

I still remember last year logging on to TBT there would be 60-70+ people online(real forum members not guests) and there was 7 or 8 pages of new posts in my feed
Then activity started to decline drastically and now there's like 30ish people online when I'm online and 4-5 pages of new posts
Now there's been like 20ish people online and only 3 pages of new unread posts when I log on
I don't know it's like everyone vanished into thin air but seeing how many people entered the St. Patricks day raffle makes me wonder if everyone is still here but they don't post or people only log on for events and raffles nowadays

Oh, for sure there's a good amount of people who only log on for the events... which in hindsight makes sense because they probably either don't need any help in Animal Crossing, don't want to talk about it, or they just don't want to miss out on the newest collectibles the staff releases.

I was super active back before 2020, and then kind of slowed down over time, but have still made a post almost every day. Now my activity has dwindled to the point where it's about to be nonexistent though.

Yeah, it seems like a lot of people (including myself) have gone on hiatus or have just left completely. Like Midorya said though, plenty of people still log on just for events, so I imagine when the egg hunt comes, it's probably gonna be very active here.

Anyways, I feel like drawing one of my oc's but I don't know which one to draw lol

There was a group of robins chilling in my yard and normally they are reddish & brown but there was one with a solid white head and neck. The rest of his body was a normal robin colour. It's like the top half of his bird body had albinism lol. I wish I got a picture of him.

Par for the course. Activity in these kind of places dips now and then depending on the time of the year. Wait until summer and you will see it will probably get more active again. NH is also 3 years old now and Nintendo kind of dropped it as fast as they could, so that didn't help.

The events do bring a lot of activity back and more show up for these. They can be a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the 2021 event camaraderie of being in a team.

To me anyway, the blog/journal event had a lot of the member's focusing all of their time on creating their blogs so there wasn't a lot of activity and interactions elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, I think the majority being creative like that is cool, but it kind of slowed down the activity in the other parts of the forum. So I didn't visit as often until the event was over.

I think this medicine had the opposite effect on me and I feel better after not taking it for a day 🙃 but it was over the counter so no big deal. Idk, maybe it just had no effect at all and I was feeling ill for a stupid reason.

The power has been out for like ten hours and they have no estimation for when the power will be back on. Not good or fun.

yeah this also happened like 4-5 years after new leaf was released, when I started being active on here in mid-late 2016 there weren't many active people at all. that would explain why the 2020 fair had a huge number of people participating in the 2020 fair, compared to the 2017 fair which didn't see many active participants and thus there are way less collectibles remaining from it (like the fresh, rad, sweet, and final boss feathers). and ofc there are a lot of people who aren't super active but do pop back on for raffles and events, as you suspected.

it is interesting to note, though, that people started leaving this place pretty quickly after New Horizon's release (about 2-3 years) compared to New Leaf (about 4-5 years). I remember the market for buying/selling in game stuff was still pretty strong in early 2017.

Now that I have a proper mouse, playing games on my computer has been a lot more fun. My hand got sore easily with my old one.

idk how to interact with some ppl anymore. lol
specifically ppl who like to use me.

im just not about it anymore. i know what real friends are like bc i can unmask w the people im closest to rn. but i dont want to be used as the friend to go to out of boredom or to vent/rant to or to seek advice from when it wont be taken anyway. besides, im still not over all of THAT lol.
