Genuinely listening is sometimes all you have to do for someone to feel special. There have been so many people that we work with who everyone on our staff thinks are *******s that are the sweetest people ever to me because I actually listen and talk to them instead of brushing them off.

saw that Saberspark (on youtube) is livestreaming watching Anastasia and it just happens that I've been thinking abt that movie a lot, so I decided to click on the link, and they were just starting watching the scene from Bartok the Magnificent where that one evil lady slowly transforms into a dragon in literally the weirdest way possible.

I always wanted to forget about that scene bc it lowkey scarred me as a child, and now I can literally never unsee it again 😂 💀

it's fun to draw traditionally sometimes, especially since it's often incredibly difficult to fix mistakes so it kinda forces you to accept and live with your mistakes, which is always a good skill to have.
 
On a related note, My class is doing mixed media collages and I’m over the moon about it! I was already working on a mixed media thing for fun but I’m super hyped that school is giving me this push. I absolutely adore mixed media art and collages but I get really nervous about messing it up and making it look bad. My mom got me a book about mixed media journaling many years ago but i haven’t found it yet. I hope it will help!

It's a bit warm here today at 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Oh well...at least it's not humid. That would make it torturous.
 
I can’t wait for the confirmed 2023 summer event! I wonder if it will be similar to Camp TBT or TBTWC? The community was still pretty new to me with those events, so I’m happy to enjoy myself more in this new one. I know what my join date says, but I’ve only been active for the past two years or so.

I’m looking forward to fully enjoying what this upcoming event has to offer since I’m familiar with the event layouts and have WiFi capabilities.
 
Well, I guess that I don’t have to feel as bad for my nephew losing his tooth and busting his lip last week. Today he head butted me and I bit my lip hard because I have an overbite. It still stings.
