• Guest, you're invited to help build our new TBT time capsule! It contains three parts, with some of its elements planned to open in 2029 and others not until the distant future of 2034. Get started in 2024 Community Time Capsule: Blueprints.

Place your random thoughts.

I remember the thing I was most hyped about for New Horizons was getting to request an official version of Drivin' because in New Leaf, it was one of three of K.K.'s fake songs, before it was known as Drivin' and therefore had no aircheck version.

The first time I heard Drivin' it made me think of Super Mario Galaxy, and I instantly loved it. I couldn't wait for the aircheck version. Though admittedly, the aircheck version gives off more of a Mario Kart vibe, which makes sense given the overall theme of the song, but when he sings it live, it straight up sounds like SMG and I freaking love it for that 💗

When one thing is done another one pops and then you just find yourself being busy all the time that you don't have much free time to yourself. You try to act like "its no big deal" but the more stuff that piles on you the more annoying it gets.

1. Meat has not tasted good these past few days.

2. Since some of the TBT events had room decorating contests, I keep thinking about possible scenarios.

Rosie is that you?

Admit it, we all are eagerly waiting for that announcement to learn more about this year's Camp TBT.
I may just be the only person who keeps forgetting it's even happening oops. not that I'm not excited for it, I'm sure it'll be great! maybe once it starts I'll be more interested hehe

I just got a BRILLIANT drawing idea, which sucks bc I already have so many drawings I'm working on right now hfkahdjs 😂

I think there's a Mario Kart character I dislike more than Link, Isabelle and the Villagers. I know my double standard is showing, because I personally don't have an issue with the Inklings. For some reason, the Inklings look less out of place than the other characters. But I do not like Kamek. I don't understand the character choice. I would have preferred to see Hammer Bro. There are at least three Kamek in every room I've been in since they released this wave.

So there’s one more wave of Mario Kart tracks coming.

To be honest, I didn’t really enjoy the Booster Pack tracks. Maybe with a few exceptions (like Coconut Mall, Waluigi Pinball, Moonview Highway, and both N64 tracks), but they only made the game longer and tedious. Besides, the soundtracks are a lot weaker than in the original 48 tracks in MK8. I’m especially disappointed in Merry Mountain’s soundtrack (which is also a disappointing course as well). It’s just as disappointing as Cold Planet Pathway’s music from Lego Racers (which I haven’t played in over 10 years, don’t ever plan on playing it again).

I see the magikoopa's curse strikes once more 😔

Since board organization has been fixed, there’s no need for me to return to the Basement. I’m not that interested into forum games anymore.

I don't see a point in paying for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC if we can still play on the new courses online. I'm not interested in playing as any of the new characters either. If I'm not using the characters, I would essentially be paying for nothing because other players can use the characters and I can still access the courses without paying. I'm glad I was aware of this before paying for the DLC.

The corporate artstyle being called being called "Corporate Memphis" is an insult to the memphis design movement. Ok, there may be many similarities but... that style is for furniture and patterns and stuff, not people!
Your comment now clarifies for me why this dog collar is called Memphis.

I just always called this, 90s confetti pattern.

Fun fact: had it been Nintendo, not Disney, that made Song of the South and kept it out of distribution for the same reason Disney did, they would issue DMCA takedowns of anyone who distributes the film, something Disney isn’t doing to prevent people from watching that film.

I can’t believe how much time has gone by. Next year will be my 10th anniversary on this site. I’m an old apple.

EDIT: It’s also worth mentioning that I was 21 when I joined. By then, I would be 31 years old.
