Have you noticed this? When you browse Katrina’s profile, every user who cursed another member has their message loved by the user being cursed. However, I’m the only one who’s not loved by the user that I cursed. Why is that?
You start becoming a more confident person when you stop worrying about what other people do. I know that nothing I do will change their opinion of me, so let them have whatever opinion they have. It’s not worth it.

I guess there are more people than I thought that were able to house their Betta (whether male or female) with other fish (non Betta) and everyone was happy. It depends on the individual fish's personality. I wonder if anyone is working on breeding thier aggressiveness out that was bred in them for fish fights. It would be amazing if so. They are such pretty fish. I know some people have success with an all female Betta tank with many females.. I guess one trick is getting them use to other fish while young and have enough females in there where they give up on claiming a territory but also using a large tank.

It's been oddly nice coming back to TBT. I had stopped seriously being on TBT around 2009 or 2010 because I was a Silly Little Guy and used to be a troll. I dunno why I decided to check on it - maybe a conversation or something. But, I've actually found TBT is kind of a cute little corner of the internet that feels like it's from a different time. This has also coincided with me using social media less, but now I'm kind of getting my fix through the forums, lol. It's kind of nice though - forums have a slower pace to them. Social media (especially twitter or reels/tiktoks) feel so fast. Like, if I spend too much time on Tiktok, my brain feels different afterwards. I feel like it's bad for your health. We are not meant to digest that much information that quickly.

A big component to having a Betta in a community tank is the type of fish you choose and having adequate plants/hiding spots for the Betta. You’ll want more peaceful fish in the tank that hang out on the bottom or mid level of the tank. A small group of tetras can work with a Betta, corydoras, bristlenose pleco - but not fish that are “nippy” (rummy nose tetra). And obviously, you’d want at least a 20 gal or larger to accommodate all these fish.

Sorry if I’m telling you stuff you already know, but just wanted to contribute to the fish chat!

I can’t believe it’s more than seven years since that Harambe incident. Many news stories from the 2010s would eventually be forgotten, but people aren’t going to forget this one. Or the Blackfish controversy.

Oh yeah I've seen people have those floating log things for their Betta. Those seem cool to have in there even if you don't have a Betta and you have something else like a platy.

I always thought that Bender and Jake (the Adventure Time character) sounded familiar, and I searched it up to find that they both have the same voice actor. But that did make me realize that the shows are a little similar in other ways.

If I could apply mods to Ocarina of Time, I would lower the difficulty of the bosses and mini-bosses, by slowing down their attacks. But when fighting Ganondorf, I would raise the difficulty by speeding up the attacks and making Biggoron’s Sword practically useless.
