So now that I have the dream suite unlocked in New Leaf...
I know there is a New Leaf dream address thread with dream addresses I can check out but that thread is really inactive and with all due respect I do not really want to visit the dream addresses of people who have been inactive since I joined and I've never met them before, I'm sure their towns are all wonderful but I'm only really wanting to visit the dream addresses of active TBT members I know(It's just a personal preference, nothing wrong with inactive members towns!)
I guess I could go look at every single active TBT member's profile to see if they have a dream address I can visit on it but that would take a really long time.
So anyways if anyone reading this has a dream address on New Leaf I can visit please post it on my message wall and I will check it out.

I just saw a really cute NeeDoh heart squishy that said “main squeeze” and it had me thinking, that’s the only time i recall hearing that term outside of ACCF. When Harriet asked me if I had one the first time I was like 9 and extremely confused so luckily my mom was there to explain. Not only is that a weird term but it’s even weirder to put in a game with the main target audience being kids since it seems very old fashioned.

I think I've heard that in 90's sitcoms. The dub for "Haven't you heard I'm Sakamoto" used the old timey word druthers, and took me out of an important moment.
 
So....erm...

A few days ago at lunch with my family, my dad briefly brough up going to Corpus Christi (my mom lives near there). I just don't understand, since we JUST got back from a Corpus trip back in August, and we already have a vacation planned for July. He claims he is a homebody, but he has disproven that time and time again. I fee like he just says that because he is very busy at is job, so he values the time he spends at home. If he was self-employed, retired, etc. I feel like he would realize his love for getting away.

I know some of you know what my stance on vacations are. I am not saying there isn't fun to be had, but I just rather not. It is a pain in the ass to pack, get to your destination (which bathrooms are not always available on the way there and back), unpack, sleep with family, pack AGAIN, get BACK home, and unpack...AGAIN. I ******* hate it.

I envy people (well, who are like me) who are in families that are perfectly content with just casual get-togethers. I do not understand why people do this crap. I do not understand why people would go through the rigmarole of planning a "mAnDaToRy" family vacation when there are much more simple ways to spend time together.

And some of you guys may vaguely know about the California mess. My dad told me my grandma has been trying to push him to take me and my brother. It's clear she doesn't know my stance on vacations, especially ones halfway across the country. I need to have a chat with her when the time is right.

It could take some time until I am able to live on my own, so if I am still living with my dad when he retires in a decade or so, I hope he mostly just plans sporting trips with my brother.

Don't get me wrong, I am not necessarily against people who love to travel. It's when they try to force it on their family members who do not like it, is when I have a problem.

I do not have the mental capacity to sit down and pay bills monthly, and do taxes yearly (which is why I am gonna have my dad has my guardian for the time being). I am hoping there are accommodations out there that make it to where I do not have to do these things on my own (I know people strongly advise against it, but I believe you are able to put your bills on autopay, and I think you can pay certain places to do your taxes for you), so it is possible for me to live on my own in the future.

I really hope I can live on my own. I will make my life as comfortable as possible. I am not saying I will avoid my family altogether, but I am gonna try to avoid the ****** vacations.

It's by no means an amazing town, and I haven't looked at it for years so I can't remember how complete the town was when I uploaded it, but your welcome to visit mine 💚 My DA is in my profile

I saw that Robin Christensen-Roussimoff (Andre the Giant’s daughter) is scheduled to be on a YouTube podcast (Monte and the Pharaoh). This is interesting to me, as I just blogged about Andre. Robin is also private and doesn’t do interviews often. The podcast doesn’t come out until the 16th but boy am I ready!

I wonder if Andre were alive today, would he have social media, a podcast, etc.

I have no idea why it’s seemingly a flex to go to sleep at 2:00 in the morning for people my age. It’s pretty ****ing stupid, that’s what it is. When you grow up, you’ll HOPEFULLY have a job and not be able to sleep as long as you can now. So sleep long now while you can, and don’t shorten your lifespan by like ten years. I really do not get it.
 
Why is Feyd-Rautha bald in the new Dune movie? Nothing against it…I just always pictured him with curly dark hair lol. Would have been funny if Austin Butler used his Elvis voice for the character. 😂
It makes sense for the Baron to be bald, though…not sure why, but it does.

The students at my school think the same way. I think to them it's "quirky" to sleep super late or something? I don't know, but I always hear "omg I slept at x:00 AM last night because of [insert reason] I'm sooo tired". It's funny because they're probably on their phones or other devices instead of actually trying to sleep, so they should know why they're tired in the first place.

I went to bed at like 2am senior year and it was (and still is) genuinely an issue for me. I don’t get why anyone would brag about that lol, that’s very ridiculous of them.
 
i may not watch the new precure season. While it does have interesting tropes (the lead is a literal dog), it did away with the fights the series is known for. Now, I get why they did this, as this season, Wonderful, is animal themed, and they wouldn't wanna promote animal cruelty in a kids show (Go Princess and Healin' Good Precure say hi, they had episodes that showed dogs getting beat up by the monsters of the week), but the fights were the best part (besides the transformations, which StarTwi has on lockdown for best sequence). I'll stick to HiroSky, thank you very much
 
It's usually kind of amusing whenever I come across a "Oops!" page on forums (i.e. "Oops! We ran into some problems. This member limits who can view their full profile", "Oops! An error has occurred. You don't have permission to view this page", "Oops! Another error has occurred. You typed too much! Please type less").
