The Star Wars Holiday Special is like the Star Wars equivalent of Hotel Mario and the CDi Zelda games. The creator refuses to acknowledge it, and it’s really bad, sometimes to memetic extent. The only difference is that you can still legally play the CDi games.

On the collectibles discussion, I was discussing that the only reason for me to own a flower wand, heart wand, or star wand is because of nostalgia, as it’s not just the ownership of the older glow wands I miss. It’s the 2016 TBT Fair, not just because of the theme and the activities, but also because of everything going on at the time the fair was running. Bringing the Summer Nights fair back and making the original glow wands more available to everyone isn’t going to be enough to emulate 2016 today. It was a lot easier to emulate it in 2017 (which did happen for me, just not as exact as 2016), but now that it’s been eight years, it would be a lot more difficult to do so.

First of all, I’m no longer as young as I used to be. I was 21 when I first joined TBT and 23 when the glow wands first came out, but now I’m 31, I’m out of college, so it would be difficult to live that way. It’s also worth noting that over the last eight years, two of my close relatives have died, my parents have divorced, we no longer have two houses while we moved to a smaller house in the countryside, my siblings and I all have finished college and have busier lives, and my best friends from high school (who I still connect to) have busier lives than in 2016. Oh, and let’s not forget about the pandemic and how it changed everything. Even on the Nintendo and TBT-related stuff alone has changed drastically. New Leaf and Happy Home Designer are no longer the main Animal Crossing games, the 7th generation of Pokémon is over, the 3DS and Wii U are in the dark zone, TBT is in the Xenforo Era, and the community has changed. And just today, I’ve sold all of my remaining 3DS-related stuff. I still have the screenshots from my best ACNL town and Happy Home Designer, as well as my best Pokémons I trained in Alola. But the point here is that if we’re going to repeat the Summer Nights event again, I’m not going to have the same feel as it did in 2016. And that’s not even counting the Cubs’ first World Series in win over a century and South Park’s 20th Season when it it was first airing (which also helped build 2016 into a memorable year).

You can’t bring back an old memory and repeat it, but for as long as you have these memories, that’s what matters. But if there is anything you can do, it’s creating new memories of the future. If you want to help me live the good old days, you can give me one of the three original glow wands. But that’s the most you can do.

I still can’t believe that whenever we had student captains in 9th grade, they would rather pick the girls who stand around and do nothing besides talking to each other over me. Is it because I’m not athletic? They’re not either. Like I said, they literally don’t do anything. At all. I’m still not as athletic as some of the other guys in my grade, but at least I actually try. I don’t get why they just didn’t care about me. It still makes me really mad. I know I said this in a different thread, but still. At least the teacher stopped picking students to be team captains halfway through the year.

I guess they prefer walking targets over people who are too average?

I was just looking at a show bible for the rejected 2007 Nickelodeon pilot, called, "The Modifyers", and found out that one of the characters in said show bible has the same name as a Family Guy character. I never thought Quagmire would share his name with any other fictional character anywhere else!

...Giggity.

We had a younger family staying with us for the month. He was 3 years old. This was in October.

I was nervous. I had never been around a kid that young nor did I know how to interact with him. Yet, somehow, I bonded with him the closest out of anybody. I had been going through a really rough time too, and he brightened me up a bit. I even took him Trick or Treating.

When he was leaving, my mom told him "Wave bye, you won't see each other for a long time". It didn't resonate with me until later, but yeah I haven't seen him since then. I miss the little guy. Hope he remembers me, even if it's a blur.

I used to have to beg my partner to watch Survivor with me, and now he's the one asking me "What night is Survivor on?" hehehe
New episodes are technically today but we watch on Thursdays when it's been uploaded online

Since The Fairly OddParents! and Invader Zim both premiered on the same day, I've always wondered which times both shows came on then. According to this page discussing the press kits for both of those shows, The Fairly OddParents! was on first at 8:30 p.m., and then Invader Zim came on 30 minutes later, at 9:00 p.m.

If you were to punch yourself, and it hurt, would that mean you’re so weak that you can cause harm to yourself, or you’re so strong that you can cause harm to yourself?

What a random thought.

My mom gave me this toy that she got from McDonald's one day and I thought it looked so cute, until I opened it.
uh...It's still cute in it's own way. But I can't help but feel disappointed with it.

I went to McDonald's a few months ago and saw these toys. They look like that since they're based off the pets in the game "Adopt Me!" from Roblox.

Honestly, I never thought I'd see the day where a Roblox game would get popular enough to be in Happy Meals.

^at this rate, we may get Sonic Speed Simulator toys in happy meals (chao plushies, anyone?), which i wouldn't be opposed to, seeing as it's an official Sega game on roblox
