ah, sunset on the forums is always so pretty 💕
I feel like orange is a color that is often over looked. I know it seen as bright but not all oranges have to be bright and orange is used more often than intially thought.
 
If one country is fighting to take over the world, while another country is fighting to defend itself, in what ways would you support the country that wants the whole world?
 
saying this as a joke so nobody take this seriously: gaga fans are the most delusional people i know. like girl.. she hasn’t released anything since before i started high school.

It probably depends on location and a number of things. I've found plenty of grown adults that act like children and kids/teens that are way more well-behaved than some idiotic adults.

Some people are just stupid and some are just rotten people. Age doesn't have anything to do with that sometimes.
 
Lol yeah, I was way more mature than people in their 20's and older when I was even 14-16 years old, at least in real life. People do and say so many immature things it's crazy. :rolleyes:
 
Lately I've been focusing more on things that can easily relax my mood...
  • When I swapped bedrooms with my sister, I painted my walls a warm beige color, as that calms me more than the cool gray I previously went with. I also purchased fabric blackout blinds that also have a simple light-filtering feature, perfect for when I want my privacy but still want natural light.
  • I got a device on my birthday that produces nothing but white noise from a physical unseen fan. As this bedroom I'm in now is much less insulated than my old one, having a fan in the winter just makes the place colder. This noise machine generates no blowing air, which is great if I just want the noise.
  • I'm figuring out exactly what kind of new age music calms me the most. Right now, I'm on a '80s and '90s instrumental space adventure to see what kind of calming electronic music I can find that doesn't feature a whole lot of drums and bass (though I like '90s jungle DnB quite a bit). Even then, I still occasionally find songs that have more instrumentation (but still no lyrical vocals) that I can use later for when I'm in a more upbeat mood.
  • I put a blue light filter on almost all my electronics. It greatly helps my eyesight, and makes me tired more naturally.
  • I value my bed. If I don't feel weight from my blankets, I won't sleep. Weighted blankets really help if you don't mind the added heat sometimes.
  • The next time I get an extended break from work, I'll be more prepared to write some more stories for my journal. I like doing them, though I need the mentality of not feeling rushed, because that distracts my creative process.
  • Last but not least, I leave the local news turned off and out of my sight, and have done so for the past three years. While not entirely negative, I don't need my anxiety levels to rise randomly.
I think some of the tactics I listed greatly improved my maturity and intelligence levels. When I start to gain focus on my mental health, good things happen. Cut out the negatives; focus on the positives.

I wish I accepted the fact that I was trans/non-binary sooner rather than not coming to terms with it until I was 25. It seems a little late. I think I knew the whole time and I was in denial. It doesn't help that my grandma is super hateful/transphobic/homophobic/all of the above. She's the type of person to say hateful things to your face also. I just pretended like I had no idea who she was when I was with her at the store.
 
Didn’t know that it was possible to get a leg cramp not once but twice in your sleep. My leg has been hurting all day now.
 
So not even TV Tropes allows the discussions of TGAMM leaks. Most Molly McGee fanbases (like on Reddit and Fandom) already forbid discussion of them in courtesy of the creators. As TV tropes takes misuse of tropes and flame-bait tropes extremely seriously, they probably don’t allow adding details to leaked content on their wiki either.

The future will be bright. Just not the 2020s.

Society has already been going downhill not since COVID, but since the Great Recession, back when George W Bush was still our president. And it was doing fine until his last two years in office.
 
Fallen leaf was a game sitting in my wishlist forever but yesterday I saw it has a demo out now!
I played it today and really enjoyed it. Also the demo was longer than I expected.
I am happy to see that it will be staying in my wishlist!!
Also got to play beastie ball demo and it was fun too, however I feel like it was kinda hard to follow. I did fine in it, but I feel like the UI animations was a bit much and distracting but the game was cute.
 
Sometimes I wonder what goes on in the heads of wannabe edged lords. I just want to dissect one and see what is making that brain of theirs tick.
 
My boyfriend was a huge fan of the Super Best Friends channel growing up and his somewhat frequent references to it have caused them, of all things, to appear in my dreams. Who are these men and why are they in my head
 
The word I would describe 2023 would be "Manipulation". It tries to make you think things are going well and then all of a sudden it comes crumbling down. It leaves you baffled and confused. You find yourself trying to figure out what just happened and its just gets more uncomfortable not only for your mental well being but your insanity. 2023 really played you like a fiddle and messed with your emotions. Thats how I personally feel about how this year went.
