I’m so unmotivated to work on coloring and shading this tree; I keep staring at my tablet and thinking of where to work next, but I keep spacing out or getting distracted, and as a result procrastinate. I’ll get it done, it’s just bit tedious 😅

So even Nintendo is falling into the trap where distributors in charge of subscription services are removing content. Just recently, they announced the removal of a third-party game on the SNES. Granted, the removal of one third-party game shouldn’t raise an alarm, but that also means games like Banjo-Kazooie and Goldeneye 007 might be at risk.

Cats do it as well and so do many birds. It’s common in nature. I never looked into why on other species but for cats it’s because more melanin develops in their eyes.

On the subject of that teaser I don’t hate it. I’m whelmed. I really dislike influencer jokes but it’s just a teaser. I think the new art style is just fine but was a bit overanimated.
 
I started reading the Genshin manga and it is pretty good; one of the early panels kinda bugged me since it seemed a bit unnecessary fan service with the way the woman is bending to hug a kid and her butt is kinda in the center. Not the worst fan service I’ve seen but I feel like it could have been better at a different angle. Aside from this, the artwork looks amazing…except maybe the design of Il Dottore that I mentioned in the random thoughts for video games thread 😅. He looks so goofy; I don’t want to say the design is bad though I can’t say I like it either. I very much like his appearance in the game much much better. At the same time, I think the design does give off this mad scientist like vibe. I haven’t read the chapter yet since I just started, but maybe the design is perfect for the manga content 🤔 but doesn’t fit the impression that I have of him from what I’ve seen in the game so far.

And this is why I preferred the virtual console.

I picked what I wanted and got to keep it. I still have virtual console games on my wii from early childhood.
 
My dad does NOT believe in Joe Hendry lol. Doesn’t care for the singing, or the vibes in general. He was probably mad when Joe and Elijah beat the Colons last week 😂
 
Good news, I can play Pocket Camp again. Bad news, I can't play my original saved data because it won't let me transfer it to my Chromebook.

And I played it when it was first released, so good bye all that progress. I guess, if there's another way to get it.
 
I've changed my username. There were a few reasons for this:
  • TN4U is simply harder than you think to type on a keyboard. Go ahead, try doing it fast a hundred times. Not as easy as it seems, hm?
  • I thought combining the villager names Bruce and Roscoe into a single word sounded very cool. Hence, Bruscoe!
  • You can easily refer to me in chat rooms and game sessions (though I won't mind if you simply call me by my IRL name, Trevor).
Besides, I've grown really fond of using Roscoe as my avatar. I'm going to stick with him long-term except maybe for a few special events.

I used to jokingly flirt with Colton back when he was still on my island. I would even send him "love letters" to his mailbox. Looking back, that was pretty cringy of me to do.
 
I hate the apple updates. The latest update made my email app a cluster mess.

Other things:

I was going to post this yesterday but I wanted to think about it more. I think I finally fully understand something that happened months ago and what I did wrong. I’m really grateful that my friends were willing to hear me out after I messed up since they had a good reason not to. On top of that, that helped push me to understand what I’m doing wrong better and how to socialize better since I’ve always struggled with it. I realize now how important it is to communicate with friends and to also respect their boundaries even if they don’t say to stop doing something. I’ve failed to communicate a few more times after that, was able to resolve most of the situations once I did. Having some things happen to me that was almost identical to one of my bigger mess ups, helped me realize how that all could have been avoided if I had communicated, and it was very immature of me to do. Another situation helped me understand the importance of respecting boundaries even though I though I did; anxiety does get the better of me a lot and that is no excuse.

Been starting to realize something my best friend said and what he meant too about trying too hard. I think he wanted me to realize I’ll end up getting hurt if the people don’t reciprocate the same courtesy I give them.

I keep wanting to shut myself off each time something goes wrong regardless if it my fault or not, but I realize that I’m never going to learn how to socialize better by doing that.

Parents of the year amirite? It's like thinking what Fiona did in Shrek 1 when she was trapped in the castle. She had to eat something and it's speculated that she ate the dead knights lol. I wouldn't think about it too much. They either aren't shown yet or they just conveniently forgot because plot or laziness.
