I'm probably one of the very few people who prefer Lola Bunny in the Looney Tunes Show more than Lola Bunny in Space Jam. She's actually funny in the show at least.

I get the appeal and the nostalgia of the Space Jam one, but Lola Bunny in the Looney Tunes Show felt like an actual character in the Looney Tunes cast rather than a character solely designed and written to be an already established character's love interest.
Ngl I feel the same way. :V

Growing up in the early 2010s, I used to watch The Looney Tunes Show back when it was still airing. In this series, Lola feels less out of place with the Looney Tunes characters like Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny. She's more loonier than Space Jam Lola and less one-dimensional, for lack of a better word. To this day, The Looney Tunes Show Lola is still my favorite Lola Bunny incarnation. No hate to Space Jam Lola, tho.

i hate how the internet is so much worse than back in the day. like i was trying to find official artwork from a manga i like and in the past, if you googled "____ official art" you'd find it and find comprehensive scans and galleries, etc. now you do that and it doesn't even show you official art and it's mixed in with AI and product results. sigh.

Adam Rainer was the only person in the world to be a dwarf and a giant in the same lifetime. When he was 18, he was 4 feet tall, at 33 he was 7’2”, and when he died, he was 7’8”! (Some kind of glandular problem, I’m guessing.)

Dude, I am barely in my mid 30's. Stop 😭

As I was getting my prescription inside the pharmacy, an old lady barges in and says "This nasal spray is expired!" while slamming the spray down on the counter. The pharmacy tech tells her he's not customer service, so she leaves to go find them. Honestly, I was a little annoyed, but it's funny in retrospect. 😅

I just remember watching "The Thief and the Cobbler: The Recobbled Cut" and a couple of Richard Williams documentaries thinking that this is more of a cautionary tale of what happens when perfectionism was taken to the extreme without thinking of the potential risks it impose when trying to make the project as "perfect" as possible.

Meanwhile with Ralph Bakshi, Despite the roughness of some animation, flaws, setbacks, and budget constraints. he managed to finish the animated movies.

The "Dark Age of animation" is also an interesting case study just because of how tight the budgets and mandates are, and how major studios back in the 60's to 80's were focused on quantity in terms of content. Looking back at Saturday Morning cartoons from the 70's to 80's through the lens of an artist, I found most shows at the time to be enjoyable and fun, but forgettable and didn't stick with me for most of the time. And felt like it is only created to boost toy sales.

Don't mind me, just yapping about animation stuff

If you have an mp3 file, download a music editing software, and then reverse and slow down the audio by 50% you can get some interesting results. I took Exit Music For A Film by Radiohead and in five minutes I created something that sounded straight out of a horror movie.

I should invest in some lint rollers, they work like magic! My clothes are always covered in my cat's hair, which isn't good as someone who primarily wears black and has a cat with white fur. :v
A lint roller is the “unusual item I always carry with me in my bag.” I personally have the Flint travel-sized lint roller. It comes with refills so I don’t have to buy a new one each time. I use it a lot, so it’s more convenient for me that way.

I go to sleep dreaming of a pleasant thing then I wake up to a bunch of alerts but then I remember there's an event going on so then I just go back to sleep, lmao
