So I'm thinking of buying the GC version because it was my first AC game, but I didn't own it and so I didn't get to play it very much. The first game I was actually committed to was City Folk. I've only heard good things about it, and I love to play old games with clunky features. Basically, will you still play the GC version even if you play NL?
i've got a gamecube emulator that i play the orignal ac on!! it's still tons of fun and i love seeing all the old favourites that they removed from the new games (god bless u huggy). although, wild world was my first ac and i only started playing the gamecube version some time last year so i haven't really had time to get bored of it yet
I think the next time I'm up to play some Animal Crossing and I want a fresh start I'll do it on the Gamecube, since it's easiest to do it on there (if you have multiple SD cards, at least).
I've been playing the Gamecube Animal Crossing since it came out, I got New Leaf this past Christmas, and I still play on my GC town about once a week with my nephew.
