Infinity Nikki Discussion Thread

I was surprised there wasn't already a thread for this game, so I'm making my own! Infinity Nikki is a free-to-play open-world game with platforming and dress-up elements. I was initially hesitant about the game because I thought it wouldn't be for me, but I love it so far. The graphics blow me away every time I open the game.

i've not played too much of it yet (maybe about 20ish minutes), but i immediately fell in love with the graphics. i hope to continue playing once i'm done with certain games!

I could see myself getting totally lost in that game if I didn't have a Steam library or a job. I tried it on my phone, but I don't see myself getting further into it unless it gets on the Switch or on Steam. I definitely miss having a fashion game in my life though.

The Nikki fashion universe fascinates me though.

Infinity Nikki immediately appealed to me when it came out because character customization is my favorite part of games lol.
Apart from playing dress up/collecting outfits, the world/graphics are absolutely gorgeous.
Not a huge fan of the storyline, but I tend to skip 99% of dialogue in most games anyway lol
I haven’t been playing as much the past 2 weeks, but I do still hop on here and there!

Started playing near the end of 1.0. man I wished I joined sooner cause I love the 1.0 fairy wing dress but oh well. I like how even the free 3* and 4* pieces look good put together.

Been running into a lot of crashing and errors on my computer and it runs a lot better on the PS5.

I haven't run into much crashing or errors on my PC, and it runs much better on it than on my iPhone 15, but I don't own a PS5, so I can't really compare the two.

So far, this game has been a solid 9/10 for me, and I love almost everything about it, but I dread reaching the part of the story where I have to craft something that requires over 400 pieces of a collectible. That's way too much grinding. I understand the game just released last month, and the content is fairly limited, but this feels like unnecessary padding.

i actually downloaded this game on launch day. i'd had my eye on it for a while but forgot to pre-register because i was waiting until closer to launch, but then i forgot all about the game and suddenly launch day was here. it's a nice game! very pretty, and i've made some really cute outfits. i never spend money on gacha games specifically, but the recent christmas-y outfit in the store was SO cute, i just had to buy it, and i at least got double the currency for a first-time purchase, so will probably have enough for a future outfit if i like one. the devs seem to be taking feedback onboard so far, and i'm glad that it looks like they've done away with the time-limited pulls for already time-limited banners. the story intrigues me, too, but since we're apparently only getting new areas/maps every six months, i'm trying not to rush it. downside is that the material for evolving outfits is locked behind the current endgame, as far as i know.

i haven't been playing as much lately because the performance has tanked on my pc for some reason. for the first few weeks it ran perfectly, and my pc runs similar games like genshin impact and wuthering waves just fine, but this game in particular has taken a painful performance hit recently. even on balanced graphics, it lags and freezes up constantly until i've played for maybe an hour or two, and then it calms down slightly. not sure if it was an update that caused this or not, but i do think the game could be optimized better anyway.

I’ve had connection issues on my PC for the last few days, so I’ve switched to playing on the mobile version of the game. Despite the worse graphics, I managed to get a pretty nice photo of my character:

I've been mostly playing it on the PS5. There's been a few times where it gets stuck and I had to restart the game.

I got the whole daughter of the lake outfit.

We got the previews for the outfits in 1.2! I like the free outfits and the 4* gacha outfits a lot more than the 5* outfits. Gonna take this as a blessing to save up my gems some more

I was soooooo obsessed w infinity nikki but then I spent too much irl money trying to get a full outfit pull and then I had to uninstall it in complete shame LOL

I am thinking of redownloading it again tho bc I have no willpower

omg a thread about IN !! i've been playing love nikki (LN) for years now and have spent money on it so i made a personal promise to keep IN f2p.... we shall see!!!!! how long!!!! that'll last!!!!!! especially with the upcoming new suit..... i'm on the floor

originally i wasn't planning on playing another nikki game because my wallet needed a break but i kept seeing momo on my feed and i'm so happy he's so much sweeter in IN he's such a brat in LN
momo and his many cloaks were my downfall

They have an official interactive map that syncs with your game dates and marks all the dews, stars, and chests you have and have not found.

i discovered you get this shrinking ability outfit in the story and you get to ride on top of momo, life is worth living
