I decided just to experiment with the smudging tool in Gimp, because I never really tried to use a smudging technique before. The background started out as a C4D. I tried to make the C4D look like it was sucking her in. Then I realized it was too sharpened and that the C4D made you take your eyes off the girl. It looked horrible, so I just smudged it out.
I know the signature's a little plain, but what do you think?
(Text would look perfect in the empty spot on the left).
the smudge draws your eyes to the girl automaticly
Its a good thing you thought about the focus,I like it
just like you siad about the text, justadd it to the empty spot, but don't make it compete with the girl (not to bright or too big)
try a slightly darker red then what you already have
