Please help me with RLC pricing and Critique

No offence, but personally your art isn't good enough for RLC.
In my opinion it just looks amateurish... I did stuff like that when I was 10. Sorry, just saying.

dang what a god ; ^ ; I could barely draw better than a stick figure at 10 lolol

@flutters I'm no good at pricing but you should first consider how long it takes you to draw something like that :3 Keep the minimum hourly wage in mind when determining prices, maybe round it down and knock off a few dollars if you feel it's too high, and that should be good <33
Good luck~

whoa holy **** dude slow up on the salt??? saying you don't think they're ready for RLC yet is one thing, but going on to say "i did this stuff when i was 10" is utterly asinine. people improve at extremely different rates, so age honestly doesn't really matter. even if you practice as hard as you can all day every day, it can still take one person longer than it took another person who did the same thing. yes, there is a general level of ability at certain ages, but its definitely not a concrete marker. so, in saying this you honestly just made yourself look like a jerk. instead of this, try critiquing and telling them what exactly you don't like or why you wouldn't buy it -- but don't compare your progress to someone else's. i mean. if you don't care about being a jerk then that's one thing i guess.

anyway im not very good at pricing or critiques, but i think theyre cute! i believe 3$ is a reasonable price, as others said. ill agree that eyes might want to be a bit higher on the head, but i understand its a style thing. <: just work on refining your anatomy and how clothing works -- it seems a bit stiff at the moment, maybe try adding wrinkles or shading to emulate wrinkles to give it a more relaxed feel. good luck!!

I don't really have criticism because it's all been said but if you'd fix it up a bit based on what people said you might get 3-5 dollar. ^_^ I think it's cute.

Thanks to all of your suggestions! I'm currently working on something that (hopefully) attempts to fix the things I did wrong :)
Also, I'm not going to reply to Slammint, because he just seems like the person who'll just continue this argument until hell freezes over. :p

He is that kind of person, trust me.

But yeah just keep going! I draw like a 1 year old so I can't say anything in terms of how to improve :x

How long have you been drawing?
Honestly, I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, and even my best, imo, drawings:
Even I feel SUPER freaking bad for selling them for rlc.
I'd say practice a little bit more<3
You'll totally get there, I know it!

um traditionally, since i was little, but digital...um i think december of 2013. so around a year and a half, but i took a huge break for like a couple months in 2014 because of minecraft :)

I really love the ones on your deviant art that don't have any facial detail. Those ones are simplistic and detailed at the same time, which is a style I really like.

AHHH and everyone blows up.
I was just giving honest criticism. Not meaning to be mean at all. With a bit more practise, I bet you could become good enough to sell RLC. With more shading, and maybe more detail on the eyes.
Good luck anyway, :3

I earn around $5 dollars a week (?3) so I have always been tight on money.
I'm not as rich as other people on here. So I guess my opinion is much more then others.

It's not worth around 3/4 of my week working for it. :/.

That's great, flutters!! You'll be SOO good with improvement! I know it!<3

Wow, you're amazing! I'd recommend working on using slighly darker or saturated colours, just so it's easier to see a little more detail.

ah thank you! heh i dont usually use saturated colours for some reason, but i'll keep that in mind!

Also, I really love this style:

It's probably my favourite of yours so far. I'd pay ?6 or ?7 for one.
